Xbox Play Anywhere should have caused 100s of articles of praise towards MS but it hasn't which is very very bizarre.

In the gaming market overall it has become redundant but still not irrelevant since for $280 you would be hard pressed to buy a PC that can play xbox windows store games.

@Bruce then you suck it up. It is actually unhealthy to play for long extended periods of time. Taking a break is something many people would probably do if reminded.
Regardless I dont find it any more intrusive then the constant acheivements popups.
I find this to be a really good thing. Time flies when you're having fun... Having a small notification just inform you is welcomed.

You must pass on almost every game then. Halo 5 currently the best with its micro transactions policy. Since we keep getting free content. No MP dlc crap either.

The only games that you can't play on Xbox that constitute saying less games are the Japanese games which tend to stick with their own.
Withiut the Japanese support Playstation and Xbox games would be pretty similar if not more on Xbox.
Yea and gaming in general isn't necessary either unless you want to game.
Yes I know it surprises people but you actually don't "NEED" to play games.
Now... If you want the slickest looking console, with 4k up scaling and video, lots of HDD space, no power brick, and that plays games the Playstation doesn't.... Then yea you need the Xbox slim. But that's if you want it.
Some you can on steam. Helldivers for instance... Even the danganronpas are on steam now.
As far as Xbox... You still need it to play a few games sunset and halo for instance... And that's also only if you want to use the MS store.... Which certain fans here fail to realize that people don't want it or like it.

No, most exclusives sell very little compared to multiplats. So I don't think it's the exclusives.
