The camera will always be an issue in hack & slash games, fixed like GOW or problematic like Ninja Gaiden, just live with it and don’t miss out.
Only played Killzone 2 after the great reviews.
This is the game to buy, Enslaved to rent.

The pre slim 360 weekly 30-40k sales lead over the PS3 in NA is back already? I thought Halo Reach would keep the boost steady. How long did the slim effect last? 3 months?

My comment is 2 parts, one is confirming the story is interesting and seems great the other complains about the gameplay, what's wrong with that?
I too love great stories in games, I just started too warm to this game more after I approached it as adventure game.
And this game is marketed as an ACTION\adventure game, so criticizing the action is fair game.

C: LOS is getting 9 and 9.5 scores from most reviewers, IGN and GS scores are whack, you can tell when Edge gives the game a higher score than them.
I just played the CLOS demo and it confirms the great reviews, even by story alone it's great, it will probably be the best story in a hack and slash game. And the gameplay is RICH. This game exceeded my expectations by miles.
Gameplay in HS was much better, I thought they were going to improve on it but was disappointedly degraded in Enslaved. And the graphics are much sharper in HS, but this game is more colorful.
The strong story and animation are what's keeping the scores around 8, if the gameplay matched the storytelling it would have averaged 9+.
If you think of it as just an adventure game then it’s going to be great for you, but if you expect real action you will be disappointed.
Played the demo, believe it, this is a high octane game.
Vanquish and Castlevania Lords of Shadow maybe the best games of what's left of 2010, they both feel 9+ and will be remembered for years to come.
It is great looking for a Wii game, the character designs are also exceptionally good. Loved every game Sakaguchi made directly.
This game and Xenoblade will make me plug the Wii back in, too bad neither have a NA release date.

I expected that too back then, it was all Nintendo or Sega at that time, the PS was 4th behind the 3DO in expectations, I was like "what's this they have nothing", and then came Tekken Resident Evil Crash Bandicoot FF7 Suikoden MGS Xenogears GT Twisted Metal….
In the demo, very often I was pointing in the wrong direction yet Monkey makes the correct jump. Its more like FF13 "platforming".
And the combat was more like using the wrench from Ratchet & Clank than a true hake and slash.
I would just call this an adventure game and skip the "action" part.
