ok, I use my PC for gaming, but that's secondary, most of the time I spend in my PC is using the Autocad and the 3dstudio max for my works. I f I had to upgrade it is just for business reasons, and if the gaming side got some benefit, ok, but there are many hardcore gamers who use powerful PCs for gaming, but it depends on who.
Lair was good, not awesome but good, the only "problem" was the six axis, many of the reviewers hate it, like many people in fact, but with some tweaks on the dual analog lair can turn into a great game, tur(d)ning point is actually bad, so we can't really say that is the new Lair because Lair wasn't a bad game.

There is more impact in Sony's price cuts than Microsoft's price cuts.
Not many people will care, but if the game doesn't require any install, it could be a headshot to Capcom who force the install.
maybe in april once they notice the price cut didn't work
you can do a "backup" but the PSN allows you to download again all your data if is the same PS3 serial.
The type of I/O of this HDD is compatible with the PS3, so.... 500gig PS3 upgrade on the horizont.

the ps3 doesn't really need price cuts, at least not until holidays.
even with the cuts prices the 360 is still losing ground against the ps3, the next year the 360 will be at the 5th place of hardware sales
