As much as I loved the last of us, I see it as a one off classic that needs no sequel. A new IP would be welcomed, all they have to do is say its from the guys that brought you uncharted and the last of us = instant money.
Yeah, but still it's refreshing to see a statement like this. Normally it's devs boasting about how they have maxed out the console and taken it to the limit etc etc.
We all know how it goes. What matters at the end of the day is whether or not your game is good. Simple.

I really wish one of console manufacturers would get behind it though. Is the game gonna be expensive to make? Yes. But will it sell consoles? Definitely. Never underestimate the power of marketing also.

A possibility to fund a dream would be awesome!! I'd throw triple the retail price at least. This game needs to happen!!! But I guess that magazine exclusive isn't gonna be shenmue 3...so who knows what else would be so big?
Its a stretch.. But there's another person in the video called miki. And yes, there's a miki that features in shenmue. Albeit her surname doesn't begin with H... It's possible at least that Ryo H is a clue. Hopefully.

If shenmue 3 does land on ps4, I imagine near enough every Dreamcast owner, or anyone Thats even played the series since, will seek Sony's new console. That's a lot of people.

Its a long shot..but maybe, MAYBE they'll make a new engine for the new consoles and all will be well. Unlikely though, I've been playing smackdowm 2 again recently and its much more fun to play than the new installments.
Shenmue is a long shot, realistically. But the continued support for the series may just bring it back. I wish there was a kickstarter for it, would back it in a heartbeat.

Shenmue 1 and 2 HD would be absolutely immense. Glad to see its got recognition from a major player. With any luck, this could lead to a shenmue 3.
Why are people wanting the same cities over and over? I want Rockstar to truly innovate. No more of the same places, it's time to break the same city trend.
