I say all those opposed to the price hike should actually make a stand outside the games shops that open. Aggressive signs, anti activision chants etc...the whole shbang! The launch will get media coverage, but think of how awesome would it be for the spotlight actually going to the protesters..

For Sony's sake, I really hope that they support the people that currently own lots of UMD games. They should make it possible to acquire your already purchased games as a digital download, say by entering the serial number or barcode or something?
If they have no way to help people that have already purchased countless numbers of UMD games that's gonna be a lot of angry gamers.

I thought the DSi wouldn't do so well when it appeared in Japan, but no.. the sales for the system are strong. I'd expect no less here in Europe & the U.S.

It would be resident evil if you could run & gun. RE is meant to be survival/horror, not all out action. MGS westernised itself to help its sales due to it needing to be a big console seller for Sony. However people complained about it because they didn't know what kind of game they were buying; not being prepared for the cutscenes. I'd just like to point out the fact that the background waves are actually moving, and as far as I'm aware you can't have animated backgrounds on the PS3, so it's not custom made with the red box placed there. However I would like to see the video creator do more to prove that it is real, model number on PS3 for example? Make a video where the TV & the PS3 are sitting in the middle of the room where there is no potential for other sources of display?

Although this game is talking the talk, I'm not so sure if it'll walk the walk. Where the hell is the media?! We've not got many screenshots to go on, and no videos to gain an understanding of what it's actually like to play. It's reminiscent of GTA on the GBA, where sfa was shown until the last week or so before release. And it sucked.
Now that is awesome! This is something that should definitely end up in an Adobe product for sure.
I'd like to see this fight in a Justin vs Daigo in Street Fighter type situation. That battle was absolutely immense.
