I think they just want to control their own VR headset rather than giving it away to other platforms. Remember, Mark Zuckerberg said that AIO VR (i.e. Quest) headsets are the future.
Exactly, I have been mainly a PC gamer, but I couldn't miss out on PS4 exclusives anymore (GoW really pushed me to my limits). I got a PS4 Slim bundled with 3 awesome games (UC4, HZD, and GoW 3 remastered) for half the price of a PS4 Pro (it is quite expensive where I live), and used the rest of the money to get other exclusives.
Best decision in my entire life; can't imagine myself not playing some of the best games released this generation.
Unpopular opinion: Assassin's Creed II's story was dumb shit; the gameplay was a bit better, but the basics were still the same as the first; same collectibles grind and same-y repetitive side missions; the setting was interesting, however, the characters were forgettable.
"lol. there are really still people out there who like to carry a physical console home where it collects dust and takes up space? wow."
You after 10 years when streaming becomes the thing.
I totally agree. The only open world game's story that interested me. I think it worked for me because side missions were a part of the big picture, not distractors (unlike the other gazillion open world games I have played before). And I would add The Witcher 3, especially the DLCs.
