Mate, have you seen GTA V free on Epic? The traffic broke the launcher and the site. And GTA V sold 130M copies. There is always someone who didn't buy these games even if they were interested.
There are software solutions to help with that such as Nvidia's DLSS technology. 1080p/1440p resolution, 4K quality and visuals, double the framerate, and more Ray Tracing. It launched in an abysmal state, however, its upgraded version DLSS 2.0 does a pretty good job (I was personally blown away by how sharper and less blurry textures are in Control with DLSS on compared to the vanilla game).
The 1080Ti is a flagship GPU that sits between the RTX 2070 Super and RTX 2080. While its Ray Tracing performance is abysmal, it's still very good for 4K.
The problem is, 4K is demanding and Ray Tracing is even more. Until we hit 4K@60FPS comfortably with mid-range GPUs, Fully Ray-Traced games are a long way to go.
Torture scene. Right... All the other killing, running down pedestrians, picking up hookers, shooting cops, robbing banks is totally ok. But the torture is just too much...
