It costs literally cents to make glass bottles, and between 5k-50k for the custom mould (depending on the materials quality). Selling just 1000 bottles at $80 would have covered the costs of the mould and the glass. Seems to me like a minimum effort for maximum profits case... Again.
Well, Epic released Fortnite Save The World for $40 and basically no one batted an eye. Only when they released the free BR mode did everyone go nuts. There's no wonder why Epic doesn't give 2 f**** about it (with Fortnite on top, the world needs no saving).
Indies aside, I can't name five big developers that are still making quality Single-Player games without shoving any microtransactions in to them, especially on PC.
Only on N4G do I find people who care about this. Any where else? Nothing but negative responses/reactions. It is gonna be one of those flip-flop Left 4 Dead wanna-be clones that you won't hear about after a month or two. Recent example, Overkill's The Walking Dead.
