@MaideninBlack - Deimos.
And I agree with Wintersun, sounds more like it's talking about his wife and child.
Thief + Skyrim + Mirror's Edge = Dishonored
Thing with this whole story though is that consoles have a very basic OS, meaning there are more resources available for gaming. That isn't the case with stuff like Windows, because it in itself is a resource hog.
@Hayabusa - MS will use Blu-ray and DX 11 (because it's their own format), Sony will probably also use Blu-ray and OpenGL is more likely as it is used in PS3 as well. They will keep the PS3 going when PS4 comes out, at least for 3 years, I guarantee it.
Gotta love Mack, especially when he shaves his sweat LOL.
I can't quite believe that we're already talking about E3 again, time flies.
Arnie made Predator what it is, "Get to the chopper!"
They should definitely keep the Wii name, just because it could help convert a lot of current Wii owners, they need to get rid of the U.
Totally agree. Square was good back in the FF7-9 days, since then there games have one down hill, and although FFX was good, it was the beginning of the end for Square because they started trying to make Japanese RPGs more western. Big mistake. I'm surprised that Japanese people still support their games as much as they do, because their FF games are getting less and less Japanese as they go on.
I play mine every day usually, it just depends on whether you chose the right games at launch. WipeOut and Rayman Origins have a lot of gameplay and replay value in them especially.
What are you talking about? The US gets LOADS of gaming events such as PAX East and West, E3, Blog meetups (at least on the PlayStation side), and the rest of us are stuck with sub-par stuff. I know most of them aren't for fans, but neither are the ones in Europe mainly.
In any case, on topic, this seems like a huge mistake on Nintendo's part. It means that they either are going to have a GREAT E3, and announce a ton of things and let gamers "stew" OR they a...
The gameplay looks a little slow paced though from what I've seen. DMC is usually quite fast paced so hopefully capcom can fix that issue.
@above - It wasn't until recently that Apple was suffering majorly and had to actually get financial help from MS. It's only in the past 15 years that they have become a stronger company. But it's clear that you don't understand that business accounts are very different to your household accounts, and whilst this loss is a bad thing for Sony, it is in no way a disaster.
A disaster would be if the whole company needs to close down, that's not going to happ...
He is talking about the fact that it is not directly related to gaming news, and PlayStation is making a profit, if anything, it will almost definitely keep going, so it is not going to affect the gaming side of things. So his point is valid (this is a techspy story), and kwyjibo, your point is not.
@dcbronco - Honestly, it actually isn't that big a deal. This amount of debt already existed for the company, they just have to pay it off straight away rather than deferring ...
I'm level 54 in Skyrim on PS3, and the game is not broken. You people make it out as if your PS3 explodes when a Skyrim disc is inserted. There are some freezes here and there, but it's not THAT bad. Each successive patch reduces the amount of freezes that occur, and at the very least, this game is much much more stable than Oblivion and the two Fallout games, so they have improved.
It's probably a good date though, because not many games come out in August, most of the big releases wait for September-November.
Erm...yeah. PSP and PS Vita. Iterations don't count because they are THE SAME CONSOLE, and I mean that for every manufacturer. Nobody says a Xbox 360 phat is a different console to an Xbox 360 S, they just look different.
There have been 2 Sony handhelds, that's it, and the second one only just came out. So this is a very premature article imo, and even if it is true, there is room for more than one handheld on the market. Competition creates better experience for consumers, without the PSP, God only knows how little Nintendo would have done with the DS.
If it is not more powerful, even slightly, what is the point? This is a console that is supposed to attract core gamers, which won't happen if the PS3 and 360 still have better looking and playing games.
looks like its going to be $499.
But what i am worried about is how loud this things going to be to keep it cool, hopefully it isn't louder than the PS3 Slim or the Xbox 360 S
I didn't know that either. Hopefully it's not the movie-based game (i.e. based on Michael Bay's TMNT movie)
