@vasilisk - I think Kotaku changed it later. Still they are incredibly stupid to think that 132k is bad for a new IP, and RPG that got only 29/40 from Famitsu, and had a very low amount of preorders

Softimage is the software used to create 3D Models for the game, not the engine they used. The engine is related to gameplay and was most likely created by Kojima Productions or Konami themselves as far as I know it has no name. Lets just call it the MGS4 engine for now.

If Sony never joined the console war and had huge success with the PS1 and PS2, Microsoft would never have joined with the Xbox 1, cos they wouldn't expect any success at all. It would have just been Sega and Nintendo fighting it out as usual.

Yeah lol, seems like they didn't read the bit about Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3 selling very less. WKC has most likely sold a lot because it is more traditional RPG, not Strategy RPG like Disgaea and Valkyria.
