@Mindboggle - Simple dude, everyone wants to see giants fall. Sony still has the largest market share in the gaming industry PS2, PSP and PS3 all currently on the market. Thing they don't understand is if it was only MS vs Nintendo, you'd regret Sony not being there, seriously. Competition pushes the companies to innovate and constantly try to one up each other, why is E3 so popular? Because people want a certain company to "win".

@Shbzshar - what Gwave is trying to say is that good ratings doesn't mean good financial sales. Look at LBP it got great ratings, and it's sales are ok but Halo 3, GTA4 sales are phenomenal but the games are not great.
Halo 3 is ok, but it is as Gwave says, the graphics, gameplay and quality of the game in general is sub-par to a lot of games. GTA4 that game just completely sucks (imo), worst GTA in a long time, and it sold a lot because of marketing and branding. Even the revie...

The game is pretty much confirmed, but they won't be announcing it or showing it at E3. Jaffe slipped up twice on his blog about the game.

Uncharted 2, Ratchet & Clank 2, MGS PSP, LBP PSP, MotorStorm PSP, WKC and much much more are confirmed for E3. There are also several unannounced games coming, which is the same with MS except MS has announced NO new games before E3.

I recently got a Wii and I had heard (and I expected) Super Mario Galaxy to be a really good platformer. But it's not, at all, Ratchet & Clank Future is easily the best platformer this generation so far. And the sequel will be awesome as well.

@1.2 - Yeah GT is doing live streams too, but their servers are really good, I'd be very surprised if the website crashes during the conferences.
Xbox version sold 7 million, and PS3 version sold 5.6 Million. These are VGChartz guesstimates so you know that they always inflate 360 numbers. But still no where near as "twice as much".
Was it really worth $50 Million + millions in advertising costs for MS? I don't think so, but I wasn't one of the ones who bought the DLC so I don't know, and most likely I won't get this new DLC cos imo GTA sucks, 3 was about the only one I could tolerate.
