So it's OK when it's done for the Xbox 360, but not OK when it's for the PS3?
You REALLY need to play them, they have a great art style (although they are not graphical powerhouses), and they have unique gameplay that you've never seen in any other game.

OMG, hope so. But there was almost no voice acting in the previous games (from what I remember they just had the people talking gibberish?), so it shouldn't be too difficult to get a simultaneous release.
As Pachter said, the people who are willing to pay $249 for it will, and then Sony can cut the price. I was actually expecting Sony to announce the PS3 Slim at $349, and then do a $50 price cut closer to Christmas.
The multiplayer is surprisingly good (as in addictively good), and it's better than the previous beta.
But even though it costs that much, I still want it. Guess I'll just wait for the price drop, it's bound to happen.
I'd like to see though how well the console fares in Japan, they are suckers for redesigns.

I don't think Sony are trying to cut out the retailer, just seems like they want to give PSP users the option to download titles as well, and at the same time cut down piracy as much as possible.
@1.6 - No I'm not comparing Heavy Rain to Alan Wake, personally I'm looking forward to Heavy Rain because I loved Indigo Prophecy. I'm just saying that you could make an article with the same title and just list an Xbox 360 exclusive making Xbox better than PS3.
@cwalat - Yeah man, I know that is going to happen. But I actually played Indigo Prophecy and there is a lot of QTE, but it is not boring for a second. Quantic Dream are THAT good, they know how to make QTE exciting.

Kind of a stupid article, because you could say the same for Xbox 360 having Alan Wake or something. It's subjective at the end of the day, Heavy Rain looks amazing, but some people won't like it.
I think the embargo lifted about 5 hours ago, the reviews all seem to be flooding in since then.
I never trust Edge reviews, the stats (which I'm sure someone will post) show that they are clearly biased against the PS3 and lower the scores. Which means that they also inflate Xbox 360 scores, meaning all of their reviews are worthless imo.
If I was going to buy one of thee, it wouldn't be replacing my PSP-1000, it would be an addition to it. Some games I might like to play on the GO, so I'll get it for PSPgo, and some games I'll play at home, so I'll get them for my PSP-1000.
So the only thing they hated was twitter integration? Shows how good the game is that they pick on something that was added as an extra just for the hell of it.
It's probably just their review scoring policy. They probably only do full numbers.
Me too, Heavenly Sword was one epic game, despite it's short length.
The price is a ripoff, yes. But I still want this!

I prefer the PS3 controller for hack n slash type games, analogues are just much more sensitive. Can't wait to try the demo, hopefully Kamiya's influence has made the game great.
