Thankfully some of the parents and teachers in the US are wising up. We have to stop the ignorance in our children! First of all, the game is rated M. this kiddy should not know nothing about Gaylo (we all saw that MC is gay in the second one, so I call it Gaylo).
What?!? You say it should not be rated M?!? what are your credentials? How much time and effort have you spent on figuring the psychological effect of this game on younger children?...

This is good to see ONE guy put out the flaws of ALL systems, not the guy who says "lolbox owns even know it only has a DVD player and PS3 sux because yayayayay"
they really NAILED the PS3, games and game devs. the lolbox is really hurting the gaming community where devs will cut corners to create lower quality, almost wii quality games vs. putting the time they deserve. its just SO easy to port the lolbox version to the PS3 vs make a PS3 & lolbox version.

Is your Mom paying for that rental? because it's $10. not much no, but that 16.66% of the cost of the game... any smart person would have a hard time with this unless they KNEW they would only play it for 5 days and thats it...
that would be the ONLY reason i would buy a 360 now and its gone... back to my ps3 and Wii then... i already have a DVD player in my ps2 lol, dont need another one... thank goodness anything "must have" in on the PC or i would not be happy now..
people buy games based on reviews because they cost $60.00 and the second you open it, you're stuck with it...
i agree, dont go buy a game JUST because of the reviews. i.e. if you hate all the s-s-shooters out there, dont go by gaylo 3 and think its going to change your mind.
but when a game does get a good review that's in your genere, one would hope its good. My problem iwth R & C is it is not a 7.5 game like the lolbox fans at GS say. but IMO, its not a 9....

i think pricing would be the biggest problem for M$ here. the PS3 has a nex-gen blu-ray player in it already and they only cost $400.00. the HD-DVD is supposed to be cheaper then the BLU-RAY, but the lol box sells for 400.00 with a 10 y/o DVD player in it. they would have to keep the price the same, and im sure that would DROP most LOLbox fans overnight... i'd be pissed lol.

when americans were smarter, we knew that the Sega Genesis was more powerful then the NES when it came out. Later, the Playstation and N64 were released, we understood these were more powerful then the Genesis and played better games.

how about we re-address this after the christmas? look what happended last year to the lolbox the (2nd) christmas after launch... they sold 4.4 mil. ummm, 66% of that was from the US alone.

the PS2 BC in the EU model and anything < 60GB is done with software, not hardware. unless there is some CRAZY licening feature that is saving sony mony on the 40GB model, there is no reason it will not be BC. i honestly think that (once again) the lolbox fans got a hold of this info and once again bent it. they prob. meant that the 40GB will have limited BC, like the EU and 80GB model, due to removal of the EE.

this is why i side for the ps3 over 360. here is what looks like another AAA game for the PS3. now, the 360 has a lot of AAA games also. recently Bioshock and Gaylo 3 were released. but again, as with almost every AAA for the 360, its a dam FPS, which, I dont ever want to see another, COME ON M$ MOVE TO SOMETHING ELSE.
here, a action RPG looks great, so if you like your FPS, go play resistence FOM or FEAR or something, if not, pick up folklore.

ya, it does NOT upscale PS3 games, they are designed to run at their native res. even if you uncheck the 720p box and only have 480p andn 1080p selected, it would take a 720p game and downscal it to 480p.
