says it all, the 360 is an "ok" machine to me and a great system to some, but it is N-O-T a next gen console.
I'm not saying a true "next-gen" console will win (only the PS3 is next gen) unless you include the wii "next gen" controler.

Yes, ill admit, the first 3 hours of gameplay were very dificult getting used to the new control, but after that, its great. The folks at 1up and joystic are only capable of playing games at NES standard. thats a static joystic with buttons you push. go get a 360 and have at it then... the rest of us want next gen games...
Sony is not known for it’s software writing ability. Heck, name one good piece of software (not a game, and app) that is good and created by a Japanese company?
Sony going into the software production business would be like Microsoft going into Movie distribution business. It makes no sense.
If you didn’t pick up on that, Microsoft is trying to do this, HD-DVD, and as all can see (except Paramont) they are not too good at that…

i'm not a fan of the 360, but you may want to re-think that. the US is the only place the 360 has been moderatly sucessful. thats becuase the games avaiable appeal to a lot of americans (not me) all that fps crap.

Final fantasy is not a FPS... so it wont be on the 360.
FFXI was already on the PC (windows, microsoft) WELL before it was released on the 360. they already had the licenses and contract to distrubite the game thats why it's on the lolbox...
Most ppl (that i know) who like the 360 dont like Final fantasy. they only like another s-s-shooter... Lame.
i say tennies because most of them rely on Mom or Dad to buy them game consoles and many wont buy them more then one.
Even someone working at minimum wage has had enough time to save up for all 3 consoles, so the whole "my HW rocks yours sux because i only own one of them!" things should not apply unless they are completly unreasonable and extreamly low class.
I own all the, the 360 is not even hooked up because, well, i can play a new FPS for exactly 1...

see i think quantity will win. in america, a lot of tennie's like FPS. i HATE FPS, cant stand them, the only good one was 007 on N64 and only becuase it was "new". i like J-RPG. some people ONLY like platformers. MANY people only like casual games.

i bought my first HDTV in 1999, yes people HDTV is THAT OLD. if you dont have one yet, you are WAY behind as i had my PS1 hocked up to the HDTV (not in HD of course).
anyway, after nearly a decade i can say, it's no longer impressive... i dont even see the "shock" when changing from a standard to HD program..
I think nintendo knew this and banked on it, 99% of modern HDTV will upconvert the video to 1080p (or 720p if you have an old one). wii games at 480p upco...

the sixaxis uses Bluetooth, not WI-FI... if they dont know that, i dont think they know much about this controler.

In the 360’s defense, the RADEON X1600 XT can more then handle 1280x720 (you may know this as “720p” which is just a VERY old resolution put on a larger monitor (HDTV). Game consoles are not like PC’s where 90% of your video is all the GFX card, they have custom hardware to assist.
The problem is, no self respecting gamer accepts 1280x720 as their “max” unless they cannot afford anything better.
The PS3 is in a little better shape, its GFX card is equitant to the Nvidia...
any s-s-shooter NOT on the PS3 is a good thing, leave that crap on the 360.
This game is rather low-class. You cant play in widescreen (4:3 only, last gen) you can only install it 2 times (there are much better ways to control copy rights, like GUID registration we are all familiar with on XP, IN 2001, again last gen) and worse of all, this game has you killing little girls http://n4g.com/News-62303.a... because they knew this when they rushed the 360 into production (dont tell me they did not, its an "HD" system that does not use "HD" Media, not even M4 branded HD-DVD's)
BUT! by the time 4d is "in" i think it would be time for the 360(2) as its already dated as hell...
this is very disturbing... no wonder its only on the 360 as sony has much higher standards. look at GTA for example, a game about being a professional criminal.. 360 version, thats not low-class enough and they offer additional downloads to further your criminal career... talk about low class, last place losers...

due to lack of good PS3, i poped old FF7 PS1 in a few months ago and played it on the PS3. IT was great upconverted to 1080p.
I also unlocked my PSP and loaded ff7 on there. this was a match made in heaven as you can very easly transfer your saves form the ps3 to psp and back again.
no need to remake, just use the original. dont have the original? i have an unopened copy, black label, currently sells for about $500.00 on ebay. you intrested?
its not all that... shooters target audience are teenie boopers. It works well for them, you can play 15 min of a shooter and actually get some action. Its important to keep it at 15 min because that the average time a tennie can sit still before they run to the bathroom for another yank session or prance around the neighborhood saying the F word.
if i really cared about FPS my xbox 360 would still be connected... last thing we need on the PS3 is another FPS, only the 360 like 10000000000000000000 FPS titels... go away with this crap.
