Not sure what garbage wii systems have to do with right now really. Skipped both personally. Horizon is rudimentary, barren, unpolished trash with strange facial expressions and is already aging poorly, let's discuss GoW instead. It's good that ps4 finally got its best exclusive, even if it makes the console sound like it's about to blow. It looks mostly worthy of the praise it gets but let's be honest, it would have ended up around 91 on metacritic had it gotten the clickbait...
Sadly that's almost all a certain someone's developers can make, interactive movies. The winning formula for now is put a camera on main character's shoulder, make main character unable to walk straight and give them a kid. These generally turn out to be the same or very similar genres. Compare that to the variety of nintendo's ip's and they look like quite depressing movies even.
Pretty sure animal crossing hits this year with smash and pokemon. No telling what else, we'll see come e3. The sales they're adamantly predicting for switch by next year means we're likely about to see some crazy sht.
You know, except for mario, zelda, mario kart- oh wait, your opinion is retarded. Let us know like a year and a half from now whether GoW ever reached 10 million units sold, like odyssey did in six months. Numbers I've seen so far show it selling half as well as labo. But then sony's own games rarely ever sell.
Sony's new exclusive ip's are winning the generation & future. Now maybe in the future 10% of their install base will buy them. Clearly no one but the most sony faithful gives a pinch of turd about horizon or gravity rush.
Which is outselling GoW two to one according to available numbers?
Which seems to be 90% of the focus there. Empty world and bland main character but it looks good right?
Smash was a warning shot. Nintendo is done effing around.
I think smo is better than botw for sure. It's the more polished and refined game. Much shorter though. I didn't even like botw all that much to start with but hyrule itself changed that. Shrines aren't my favorite but if you look at a map they are everywhere. So are enemy camps, minibosses and other things to interact with. Say you find a rock formation but there's a rock missing. The rock is on top of a hill so you fit it into said formation and are rewarded for it. Bits lik...
Guess it's that or see the same few games at three or four e3's and pax's in a row and being hopeful they release some day. Or looking forward to something like detroit for a few years only for it to be mediocre. Or waiting ten years for a final fantasy. Or placing all of your self worth on something as unsure as death stranding.
Fanboys can rejoice that GoW hit before any other massive game this year but that's the first and last time a ps4 exclusive finds ...
No it doesn't. Metroid: samus returns, which was good, hit 3ds last year.
Show people a picture of nathan drake and see how many can guess who it is.
Lol what a bunch of crybaby sony bigots. Do tell the author from "pureplaystation" to go play sea of thieves because your feelings are hurt and you have nothing better to say.
LOL! Trust me, we all know you did. LOL!
Yeah, we have no idea how long the wait will be for smash 5 what with the invitational coming up at e3. Could be 2020 with death stranding. Or worse, as far out as the ffvii and re2 remakes.
Well, it's received the two highest rated games on metacritic since 2014 in its first year. :)
Yeah some design choices on ps4 are pretty questionable. There's also the loud cooling system and the blue light on the controller that glares off the tv and limits battery life to 4-5 hours. Good thing they didn't opt to use aa's.
Nintendo has been running their videogame business for decades. Pretty sure we don't need every game to play like tlou.
