It's nice to hear the other side of the story. The guy seems to know what he's talking about; I think it's just his prominence that led to this outcry.
As long as it's more fun than Uldaman. That ranks up there with Gnomeregan in terms of instances I just don't ever want to do again. Neat way of doing the testing, though!
Oh, Quake III! The happy days I spent with you! Some awesome stuff in that article.
No more Outfitter then? I do like that Blizz keep adding in bits and pieces that the community creates.
Looks like it's shaping up nicely.
It can't be real.
Although every part of my body screams it's going to be average at best, I'm actually quite looking forward to this game.
Ahaha that looks awesome. I might sign up for this.
This looks like an interesting game. Always good to hear more about it.
I remember this game so well. Such a fantastic piece of work, and really nice to see that other people remember it too. Great article.
I want his house.
Looks fairly interesting, actually. Might be a neat little game to show people. "Look! Look at how cool this is!"
I eagerly await fighting with 600 other people over some piles of wood to unlock content I'll probably not use.
Shouldn't take TOO long, at least, if it's going to be like Sunwell or AQ...
Aaaahahahaha I want one. In real life. It can sit on my desk and unnerve people.
I just get this horrible feeling I'd wake up at night and it'd be stuck to the ceiling, staring at me.
Some of those really do look good. Looks like the time is being well-spent.
Aw. That's kinda sweet.
I have to concur, but it depends on how it works. From memory rest experience was added to WoW to "reward" players who weren't on 24/7, but it's not like it unbalanced the game; rather, it acted more to help those who couldn't play all the time keep up a bit better.
Talking in WoW terms, if it were factored into XP gain, or as a bonus to honor or something - not trivial, but not unbalancing, as a damage boost would be - there's a chance they could pull it off. I can't i...
I think comparing the game to others is fairly important, really. The review mentions that it doesn't really do anything new; comparing it to other games that it's borrowing from (as can be seen pretty clearly at some points in the video) gives a decent indication as to who's going to like it. It's a quick and easy way of explaining various mechanics, and I think the video's meant as a companion piece to the written one, too.
As for the backstory thing, what you said is mentioned...
Oh thank God. This is going to make things a lot easier.
Ooh nice. I've been looking forward to trying this out. Big Squenix fan, but the framerate issues I heard about on the 360 put me off.
