The PC version was a bit rubbish. Kinda hoping this improves on it :/ I honestly think it'll be a better fit for the console.
This might be enough to drag me back into WAR for a little while. Both of this classes look pretty fun, and the way WAR handles all the classes differently is pretty cool.
It's disappointing, nonetheless. I can understand the piracy reasons, to an extent, as LAN play could work over internet through Hamachi or another VPN - but that's nowhere near as good as Battle.net, or even direct LAN play. Removing LAN play for the purpose of ad revenue is frankly ridiculous, though.
I'm going to end up playing this. I don't really WANT to, but... I actually think I'd enjoy it, and all this content makes me want to play it more.
I really wish I could get this much money for being good at games.
Oh, God. I'm going to be really interested to see how this works but I can't help but fear it's going to be a disaster. Still, if it actually works, maybe it'll help stem the goldsellers in other games - although they'll probably just lower their prices...

This content will hopefully assuage a few fears about WAR. It's not exactly unheard of for MMOs to close servers after the honeymoon period, when a lot of the players who just signed up to check it out head off. I reckon it's doing okay.
That's the problem with user-created content. It's really diamond-in-the-rough syndrome, with some AMAZING stuff out there, but far too much dross that needs wading through first.
That said, I'd love to try this and doubtless add to the dross, but I think that'll have to wait until it goes live on the main servers :)
