Wasn't that impressed by the naval combat in the demo but I think I'm going to have to pick this up anyway...
Looks good. I don't have a problem with arcadey flight games, so this looks like it might be my sort of thing.
A bit of both, I think!
Sounds rather good. Shame about the compromises, but I think I'd enjoy it, at least.
I really, really want this. I really do. And if only GfW Live worked on my computer, I'd be able to play it.
I find myself wondering how the Japanese are going to take to this.
Well, they can't let the others outdo them :)
I love anniversary events. Some really cool stuff there for long-term subscribers, usually; just look at City of Heroes.
This might just be enough to get me to reinstall WAR again. Well, in a few weeks when things quieten down, anyway...
That's a huge update. This game always intrigued me but I never really wanted to pay on the offchance it'd be worth the price, but something like this really reignites my interest in it. I might have to see if I can pick this up somewhere.
I do so love these roundups.
I do rather like the EVE backstory. I love the player-created "fiction"; the intrigue and events that happen, but even the lore of the universe is quite spiffing.
My problems with EVE were twofold - the first was that it genuinely felt like work for far too long, and the other was that usefulness was, in part, limited by the length of time you'd been subscribed. Much as I like the idea of training taking place while offline, it does mean you have to have subscribed for a little while before you can do all that much.
I'm glad other people play it, though, because the intrigue that comes out of the EVE universe is just brilliant.
Er. That's a bit interesting. Oh well! Here's looking forward to Blizzard's Tauren cheese, anyway. In shops near you just as soon as they've finished testing it. In 2015.
Of course, they'll then announce Zerg milk, which is such a horrible concept I'm going to pour bleach in my ears to try and clean my brain.
Good of Bioware to do this :) Should help those who didn't play KotOR.
From what I've seen of both they've got similarities. Big emphasis on small squads and tactics, but it sounds like Men of War has some huge battles too.
Sounds like a generic Silent Hill game, really. Perhaps it's time for the series to move on a bit? Not necessarily in a Resi 4 kind of way, but... just changing things up, rather than sticking to the old.
If it were on PS3 I'd have to wait another few years for it because Squenix would still be trying to get it working :)
Not sure, I got a hold of the old one but it didn't actually work for reasons I never found out. Maybe bug fixes or optimisation?
"Graphical improvements to asteroids" doesn't sound particularly impressive, but knowing EVE...
