It maybe means they dont have anything (big) new for PS4 and they will focus on PS5, which will be announced later that year, which will take focus totally out of PS4 and therefore makes any PS4 E3 conference useless.
I bought the game day one, deluxe edition and I never thought it's not complete. It was exactly what was promised. From then there were lot of updates. I know expectations were higher, but that's not PD fault. If you compare it with PC2 or FM7, it is lighter indeed, but it was not meant as competitor for them. Main feature of GTS was always online championship not single player campaign and hundreds of cars. But then, it is more niche then FM7 of course.

So 1080i should not be presented as full HD? If you look at tech detail , checkerboarding is more advanced interlacing. Believe me, you can't spot a difference.
It's not like rendering in qhd and upscale . Upscaling is different technique.
The differences that are seen in rdr2 between X and pro are not caused from checkerboarding. Pro can't load so many big textures, because it has lower amount of ram+vram. So some textures has to be in lower resolution...
So these few details really justify selling pro and buying X? I really don't get it. I think that on my high end pc I get much better performance but I never thought to play all the multiplats on pc because of better details. So marketing really works. It's your choice, but I don't think your experience will be any different. In God of war, there is much more difference between PS4 and pro but it doesn't ramp up your experience much. Yeah, despite that, Sony has better numbers. In the end, MS can transform in much better company with much better services next gen. I hope Sony wont become too cocky.
Only negative thing for me on ps4 is silly limitation of max 4 controllers attached to ps4. Im used to play NHL with my friends. We are usually 5 people playing tournaments and this is really bottleneck of ps4. For this reason we still have PS3.
@affrogamer - it is agree/disagree - it doesnt have anything to do with liking (but lot of people sadly use it like on facebook). If someone disagrees with someone, it doesnt mean anything bad. I disagree too. For me, X wasnt anything super special (even Pro wasnt). But as a whole generation, Im much more curious about Playstation generation jump. Thats simply because Sony brought VR this gen. And thats why i disagreed man.
All MS steps this gen lead from desperation. But! Sometimes you need to be desperate to really start to shine. We will see next gen, how many players Sony and MS will acquire. All these steps have long term effect.

Yeah! Im looking forward for next gen (both PS an Xbox). Im curious what hardware solution will both companies choose. PSs Custom VR Navi+Zen seems very powerful. MS will indeed build also very powerful machine. And if MS will deliver more new IPs and Sony can make PS5 BC with PS4 (really I dont want to trash all that VR games, remakes and new IPs this gen I didnt have time to play yet), that would be Golden Age of console gaming.
