Hey just finished Last of us and it was amazing ! Also played U1-U4. All great games. Definitely they are not overhyped. They are simply excellent.
At least its coming to PS4 after aquisition. Its obvious, why it didnt get enhancements. But if future games from Obsidian will be multiplatform, that will be really what Phil talked about.
What I dont like about these type of services is that you have to buy game again. For example, geforce now works with your steam account. In these times when everything can be connected I dont get it.
Simple device, great games, easy use...period. In my family, only I am able to launch anything through xbox one. Others have no problem with ps4. And also there are only few games, which I want to play especially on xbox. On PS there are many. So please MS, do better next gen! Without real rivalry, every company becomes bunch of morons :-).
It depends. Probably you can play all of them on PS5. Plus we dont know, if PS5 versions of same game can be somehow upgraded from PS4 versions or if you have to buy them separately. This is maybe only my dream, but it would be nice if you buy Last of US for PS4, continue play on PS5 and you got also full PS5 version where you can continue on. What you think?
Only ps without BC was ps4. It is indeed needed at least for a half a generation like was in case of PS3.

It isnt true, that compatibility does not currently cover all games. It is being verified. There is no statement anywhere, that there are incompatible games. They designed compatibility mode and now they need to be sure it really works for all games. Its normal process of development.

I dont know. But what I know, that every game has totally different HDR setting, many of them have only switch. This is welcome addition if it work like global hdr settings. There are more possible scenarios:
1)It works only for games, which have simple HDR switch
2)It remaps TV HDR possibilities to standard HDR PS4 map. Then you canfine tune this in games, where this is possible
3)it doesnt work in games (LOL)

wow , hdr calibration still missing from changelog. I will try it, if it is still there or not.
I started to play it after some patches arrived, so maybe I didnt have so much problems like others. Game is not about run and shoot. I played it mainly as stealth game. Crossbow with infected arrows is great. Later on, when I got powerful sniper rifle and extra ammo packs I mainly sniped. I also didnt fully use traps potencial for hordes. But my first finished horde was really great moment.
Also I really looked forward for tree ability unlocks.

Fact is Sony and Ms have large cloud infrastructure. Believe me, I'm in ps+ from beginning. I know how it started. It was about mp infrastructure. Free games , etc are only for justify the price for masses.
What is new reality? New store, which tries to acquire new consumers. There is nothing to adjust to.
