@BLizardXD PS3 was smaller than several HiFi components (example Yamaha DSP-A1). It seems Xbox Series X cant be put into HiFi component compartment unlike PS3. It seems its designed to be standalone. Which is for me a drawback compared to perfect size and look of Xbox One X (in my opinon much better than PS4, PS4 Pro and PS4 Slim). Its a pitty. But design isnt so bad. It looks like accessory for Xbox One X.
This shape is maybe for cooling? Should be very well and silent cooled. But anyway looks like my air purifier. Maybe it is! It would be great if you can sit on it while playing. But I cant imagine placing it next to subwoofer (which has very similar shape). Cross fingers it is not another failure. Sony needs competition. Hellblade 2 is great anouncement. Always thought Ninja theory will be Sony studio one day.
NIcely written! Everyone was funboy of something (I think :-) ). I was a huge fan of Atari. I played every other day on Atari Jaguar in local game store. Games were fantastic. And my big dream was Atari Falcon. Time passed, I bought PC and after maybe 10 years I bought Nintendo Wii. And this took my attention so much, I bought PS3 later and then PS4.
It will be... XBOSS!!!! Yeah! :-D
It would be great to solve the problem original way instead of simply deleting cars. What about making a side quest from it as a removing cars with some benefits to player(doing it for others)? It will be ecosystem friendly and will strenghten social aspect of the game.
Its amazing! But believe me, gamers dont want it. And I say it as a gamer! I understand, they need to concentrate on Core platform - xbox, xcloud - and they dont have too much space for vr. But I dont understand when xbox and pc subsystem is closer than ever, why they cant partner with htc or WMR partner to be able to connect Windows VR HMD to XBOX. Really I dont understand this. PSVR is so much fun. We had lot of great nights with friends in many games. I had also many great evenings in PSVR...

Thats clever. Not desperately trying to get interest of gamers like other companies. Game pass is not bad idea. But everyone has this idea for some time. I pay Office as a service, Accounting system as a service. There are Adobe products as a service, TV as a service (Apple, Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Disney+,....). There are cars, mobiles as a service, etc... We may end not owning anything but having 100+ products as a service. I dont think this number of services isnt good idea.

For me xbox one x is perfect for:
Old games from X360 (some in 4K)
Some localized family games
Just dance 2019 with Kinect over adapter
But I mainly play games on PS4. It has much cleaner and snappier interface. Also start is faster.
Overall if I want to buy console right now, I would consider PS4 or Switch, but Xbox has also some advantages.
If you look at differences between XOX and Pro graphics, its not so...
@Veneno But its exactly like that! Days Gone got very nonconsistent reviews and also very mediocre reviews. For me it was one of the best games of this gen. So thats the fact. Its not for everyone. Its not meant like some general bullshit, but if you play some almost mediocre game (by game critics) and you absolutely love it, you will then know what I mean with "not for everyone".

I think this can be thanks to epic. Because rivalry always make others to think about customer benefits. And because of these steps its good epic is here. Its same with intel and amd. In the end, its better for us, their customers.
It's not bad idea. If there is hardware which is worth it. Usually console makers do compromises to preserve lower price. But what can be added to pro? Double the Navi gpu? Because CPU will be strong enough in base model (I think it will be, because it is Ryzen).
It makes sense if social aspect is so strong within the game.
