:-D you made my day !
If you put it like that...Sonys exclusives, PSVR, clean interface with MS communication, features for people, xcloud and gamepass....
Thats very nice story ! Where can I preorder my first Playbox? :-)
And thats certainly reason why all cpus and gpus have variable freqency.
Its the opposite. What is variable is better suited for different scenarios.
Maybe that could be difference between (I hope) Sony classic chassis instead of MS fridgelike box.
As was said earlier. It doesnt mean, power of PS5 is randomly changing up and down. It means, devs can choose power profile and they get it. Also Mark Cernys "Race to zero" exactly ...
When I dont believe something and dont want to say something bad I usually say "Hmm, thats interesting" ... :-D
I dont think its embarassing. Sony is big player. Its MSs need to have Sony on its side (as a paying customer). Sony could also pay to Amazon or Google.
You can choose. Its not like that Sony had to go with MS. Just google aws vs google cloud vs azure.
I couldnt agree more. Theres also AWS and Google cloud to name the bigest ones. This is really big deal, so Sony probably had good offers from all.
Its not about xbox cloud gaming tech. Its about Azure infrastrucutre. Its normal. Theres nothing strange about it.
It depends how system and software layer is tuned. Thats the same story for ssd and for gpu.
Maybe sadly for you...Nintento Switch sales are better than PS and Xbox. Also Nintendo has better (in terms of criticaly acclaimed games) first party games with great sales without frequent price drops, as is usual on PS and Xbox. So they have much higher revenue from that games.
Both cpu and ssd are game changers. Its biggest leap from current gen.
It makes sense. If ue5 is meant to be mainstream engine, its good to partner with epic to make ue5 maximum effective on ps5. Its good investment in future multiplat games performance.
Most funny thing is the "moooore poooower" never worked. Its only marketing BS and only few unlucky guys bought it. If you dont have anything to say, you are always babbling about "power". Majority of most powerful consoles was not success story (or it was lower success than competition had). This story is present in almost every generation of consoles. I dont try to say XSX will not succeed, but that power means nothing. Always and always....ONLY games mattered.
Oh, that explains suprise tweets by MS execs.
If you understand it literally....maybe we can only IMAGINE, how will it look :-). On the other hand it will certainly look gorgeous on XSX. But I only have one question. Does that mean, no games for XSX are developed in UE5 ? Tweets from execs seems like they didnt know UE5 is coming.
As Phil said: When everybody plays, we all win.
I liked the video too. I like Sony and their devices. I have also Sony camera (a6000), My friend has nex camera + A7S II - on my recommendation. All great cameras. Also had Sony TV, soundbar, mobile phone, headphones and own 2 generations Sony console.
I like Sony, but on the end...I accidentally read "We are sorry" :-)
Typical tech demo is what you can see but not what you can play. This seemed to me like playable piece. So it says "this you can play". Thats the difference for me.
Game(demo)play is different to cuscenes or prerendered videos for this reason. For example replays in GT sport are in 30 fps to make graphics fidelity better. Also photo mode renders more detail. Its actually doesnt show how gameplay looks like.
But if you can freely move and environment dynamically reac...
Your life is prerendered cutscene! Sorry guys, its filthy insult, but I had to....
really?
