200 overpriced ROM downloads? No way! Seriously this is so pathetic. Could easily release every one ever made just as easily as I can download them all for free. I can't believe Nintendo gets away with charging so much for something so cheap.
Really if Halo3 were going to make an impact in the overall "console war" it should've been about 2 million. Pretty much proof almost every fan already owned a 360. Still no reason to count PS3 out with moderate steady current sales, recent price cuts, and all its top games yet to come out.
Halo3 said 1080p on the box and it runs at 640p. It's obviously upscaled resolution and therefore an outright lie to put it on the packaging.
Well it does make sense. Should try and almost relaunch it in the spring. $299 and all the great games coming could definitely start a rebound.
Kmart is trashier than Walmart and more expensive. Barely even have an electronics section. Pretty damned meaningless.
Damn how do they still exist? 8 years without profit should've killed any company. UT3 and some of their standard generic mediocre game aren't going to save them.
Don't really care but whatever only good can come of it.
Yes it will. Even with all their success they're half assing online gaming. Rolling in all that money you'd think they'd be investing in future ways to dominate the market. As is Nintendo is riding their Wiimote gimmick and without some effort the Wii will just burn out in a year or 2. But really Nintendo doesn't care about that either if they can make big money selling repackaged Gamecubes and the same simple games.
Funny thing is somewhere else the guy could've just as easily gotten blown away by the clerk.
Well people were paying like $8000 for custom 360's back in the day so this isn't any different. Too much money on their hands.
Yeah the opened games sold as "new" really gets to me. Especially sticking those damned stickers on every game and ruining the case by leaving a sticky residue. I never buy anything at Gamestop unless they get something genuinely new earlier than the big box stores. I would go there all the time if they didn't screw you over on "new" games, mess up all the cases, and have crappy employees.
The Gears multiplayer was technically pretty terrible. There was just sadly nothing better for 10 months so all the Xbox fanatics played it regardless.
Well when you figure out a gimmick to sell Gamecubes for $250 you're bound to be rolling in mountains of money. Probably produced for $100 or less.
My demo is messed up and crashes at the same point like 5 minutes in. But still awesome. Amazing visuals they're getting out of PSP.... just about the same as PS2 now.
Eh I was kinda disappointed by it. Played it through and all the advanced levels but it wasn't hard enough or with enough variety. It was good but I was just expecting a lot more out of it.
Yeah seriously. This has already been posted before at least once too.
These are Gamestop specific replacement plans you morons. Nothing to do with the MS 360 warranty. They always have rip-off double coverage plans like this. This probably had to do with losing money on the plans since so many units die and MS having a 3 year warranty anyways.
And RROD isn't fixed yet since there's still no 65nm GPUs, which were the overheating problem to begin with, but it is less likely to occur now. Plus the 10 million existing units aren't just magically fixe...
You're all making this out to be a much bigger deal than it is. Probably won't have any affect at all. Just need to add some reporting system.
Letting hoards of junk onto the system just makes the good games go ignored and leaves a bad impression to anyone who doesn't know what the good games are.
I really hope so because that would make PS3 much better for watching videos. Prettymuch everything worth watching is in one of those formats. Coverting to compatible formats is just annoying.
