Top marks here!!
Well, the Series X does kind of have the whole back of it's box covered in a picture of Master Chief.
So MS do kind want new buyers to believe it's all about Halo really, otherwise they might have a Forza pic or Gears perhaps on there too...
Those water effects are particularly nice.
Sounds like all part of the Discord reshuffle to me.
Ace Combat 7 is a great game, play it while you can!
You do hear an awful lot "I'll wait till it's on gamepass" and "You can get gamepass for $1 if you know how" from Xbox owners.
Which is fair enough, that is a great deal for the customer, but you do have to wonder about the long term sustainability of that model, beyond the deep MS pockets of course.
Take the Bethesda acquisition, $7billion, Starfield now coming day 1 to gamepass.
Great news for gamepass fans that can get that game for $...
Wow, so you are saying Phil Spencer quoted on an interview podcast with Major Nelson on an Xbox channel (as per the link)...was denied and backtracked by Phil Spencer later on!??!
But that means Phil Spencer will say one thing on the record, and then later on backtrack and deny it?!!!
Shocking!!!! And yet people believe everything he says still!! Incredible!!
Oh, so that exclusivity will probably run out just as the Horizon type 2 investments in 3 to 10 years time that people will be as excited as xcloud and gamepass are due then.
That's unfortunate timing to lose that USP at that moment, oh well I suppose you can watch DV UHD's in the Series X exclusively until then.

They could have so easily made The Mercenaries as DLC, well done Capcom for going old school and sticking to 'unlockables' instead.
Nice moment to announce 60fps patch for HZD too please
On a Series X/S, you are playing a boosted Xbox One game, due to system level using faster ram, processor, SSD etc.
On PS5 you are playing an exact copy of the PS4 Pro version, unless EA release a PS5 patch.
Xbox X/S is basically a boosted Xbox One, which is why we see same controller, UI etc. and Xbox One games running faster - this is what Phil Spencer used to call 'Forwards compatibility' and is now called 'Smart Delivery'.
PS5 has a PS4...
Nice line of denial but you know I'm right here.
No new innovation, plus no new games exclusive to S/X means it's a boosted Xbox One and that's all it is.
You accuse me of mumbling, but that's because you have your head in the sand.
News!!
Series S/X are not new-gen, they are both boosted Xbox One platforms, hence same UI, same controller and the fact that every new Xbox Series game has to work on an Xbox One.
They run and boost older games fps/ resolution on a system level, this is what Phil Spencer used to call being 'Forwards compatible', which is now 'Smart Delivery'.
PS5 has a new OS, new controller with haptics, tempest 3D, game cards, bespoke SSD etc and it happens to ha...
Genshin Impact to make a shed load on microtransactions via PS5 I bet, Sony very happy.
People wouldn't buy the games at $80 unless they were good, and fortunately every Sony exclusive has been high quality so far.
So why not just 'talk about it' and show us the new IP, rather then the usual MS hype with no content behind it?
All mouth and no trousers as usual.
The difference between Xbox Series S/X & PS5.
Xbox has Gamepass, and it's entire back catalogue of Xbox One games can be played on the Series S/X. More so, the Series Xboxes improve those experiences, with higher frame rates and resolution.
MS requires that all Xbox S/X games must be playable on the Xbox One, however this is putting the cart before the horse. This actually means all new games are for the Xbox One, but can have a better experience on the mor...
Wow, it sure looks like a killer app system seller. It looks like a Pixar movie.
