Can't blame them...BioWare/EA got screwed on the ME3 port for the Wii U! A wait-and-see approach is best here.

Apparently, peoples' sarcasm detectors aren't functioning. My "4 reasons to pick BF4 back up" was an attempt at humor, combining company/fanboy 'lines' with the fact that many forget what a shambles the game was when it first dropped. Carry on...

Yes, it was sarcasm - I was basically stating the 'company line', and the fact that people forget what a trainwreck it was when it first released.

2) Because it's patched
3) Because it's balanced
4) People have short memories

And that is your opinion- as wildly outside the mainstream as it might be, you're entitled to it. Most people love BethSoft's DLCs and they universally have solid-to-excellent reviews.

The moment you said "Dragonborn is just ok", I stopped taking you seriously. That DLC alone is more substantive than some *whole games* I've played.

Fallout: New Vegas and all its DLC (including Honest Hearts) was developed by Obsidian, NOT Bethesda.

Hearthfire was valuable for the millions of folks who were playing Skyrim on console where mods were not available.

I'm not on Tumblr or Twitter. haha

If Bethesda had a poor track record for DLC, I'd have cause for concern. However, apart from Oblivion's well-publicized 'horse armor debacle', nearly EVERY piece of BethSoft add-on content going back to Morrowind has been great.

Everyone's whining and moaning, but no one can name a single BethSoft DLC going back to Morrowind (apart from the horse armor debacle) that was "bad". They have one of the most consistently high-quality track records for DLC in the business. Don't like that they feel the content is actually going to be worth $50 in the end? Then spend $30 sometime in the next two weeks and it's a non-issue. Or cherry-pick the DLC that you want along the way. BethSoft isn't holding an...

Okay...and name one Bethesda DLC going back to Morrowind that was "bad" (horse armor aside)...

They have one of the best DLC quality track records in the business. I doubt they're going to f&*k it up.

Stupid article, stupid speculation. BethSoft have announced the *first small batch* of upcoming DLC content, and it's proclaimed that the company's ripping us off by asking us for an extra $20 (while giving us all *two more weeks to decide for ourselves* if we want to buy in at the original price).

To begin with, Fallout 4 was a HELL of a game for $60. My wife and I both play and enjoy it regularly, three months after its release. I've experienced far worse conten...

-Role-playing (spoilers): I simply do not get this argument. TW3 has one of the most 'pre-set, pre-defined' characters/backstories in any WRPG! Certainly you can modify his combat abilities and priorities and make some important decisions that will affect the outcome of the story arc/characters. However, the core role-playing experience is no deeper than in FO4, and in some ways, shallower. In FO4, you create your character's appearance from scratch; while your personal back-story...

The thing that bothers me about this constant comparison is how hypocritical it tends to be, based strictly off the perception that CDprojektRed is an 'indie' (read: underdog) developer and Beth Game Studios is a "lazy" AAA dev.

-First of all, let's clear this right up: CDPR's core development team is more than TWICE THE SIZE of Beth Game Studios; that's not counting the 1,000+ folks OUTSIDE the studio that also assisted in development of TW3. Fa...

This game had nothing to do with DICE or EA...

Google Free Radical and check out their incredible TIME SPLITTERS series. Many of the guys at this studio were veterans from Rare's N64 glory days with Goldeneye 007, Blast Corps., Banjo Kazooie, Conkers Bad Fur Day, etc.

The most tragic thing about this article is the lack of acknowledgement to the legendary FREE RADICAL DESIGN, who was developing this title at the time.

FRD was developing it and LucasArts was publishing it. There have actually been MANY video leaks on this title over the last 10 years and a long, storied history of how Free Radical was utterly shafted by LucasArts, ultimately leading to the closing of the studio and eventual absorption into Crytek.
