I asked some friends what they think about the price drop and for the most of the part they found it pretty amazing. Most of them will buy a PS3 soon this year. However, one of my friend said that the PS3 sucks even at this price point. I don't agree with him. I think the PS3 is a good deal for 399$.
But in the end i believe they will introduce the 80GB PS3 to Europe.

Some compromises had to be done in order to make the PS3 cheaper. And the compromise was to remove BC. People should get over it and not complain anymore. 399$ is a great deal.

Because people are dumb. You have to be a ignorant fanboy to believe that the PS3 will fail. The PS2 had a large variety of different games which appeal to many people. I think we all know the PS3 will also deliver in this respect.

PS3 may not have the variety and the number of games the 360 has, but that's only due to the fact that the 360 is 2 years "old". But trust me XBaWt, the PS3 will get its games: MGS4, FFXIII, Uncharted, Ratchet & Clank only to name a few. See, there are quite a number of cool AAA games that will be released 2007/2008.
I, for one won't get around buying a PS3 because i don't want to miss those great...
