The original RE3 had dodge... it was ass but still, so naturally the remake has one too,it was one of the known mechanics in the original, and of course the other one being... Nemesis. So this article is ass, just like Remake 3. Dodge should stay away from RE games. It completely Removes the tension when a monster is about to hit you and you can't do anything about it. "No let me just dodge like in the souls games!" Get out of here with that nonsense.

And it doesn't look like they did much with these "remasters" just some fixes and more modern features like better controller support and higher resolution etc.
Just watch a gameplay video on youtube and you'll see if you want to play it.
I tried the first one recently and i didn't like it personally. The controls were way too janky for me. It's a cool looking game and all but it doesn't play as good as it looks.

Honestly for me it was the lies if anything, i don't care so much about the bugs since all of their games are somewhat buggy, but my personal opinion on the company hasn't change much really, then again i didn't hype it up that much and i knew their track record beforehand so.
I'd say a big factor was RE:2 Remakes success, but to me RE3:R was just so disappointing.
Personally i like the RE & SH style puzzles, it adds more layers to the gameplay which i like, but i can see why some people don't enjoy that. Although I don't like puzzles that are "puzzles" if you know what i mean. I wouldn't call them "aging tropes" though, that sounds a bit dismissive.

I just played this for the first time this summer. I recommend it, although i absolutely hated the 2D section of the game.
Hopefully they got enough time and a budget to make this into a good game, but other than that it looks promising, i'm on board with this one so far. Good, good.

Because it ran fine until a certain point meaning there might be some performance issues there which by reading even the devs are aware, people with a similar set up might find that information useful, so if you have a better system then add a point or two and that's your score i guess
i think it's just the shitty servers. there's not much they can do but to wait for the traffic to go down slowly. i've heard they have some kind of contract with one of the server providers that should come to an end in a year or so, but i don't know how true that is. either way it's EA so i wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get better servers even if they had the chance.

and it runs like ass, for me at least, but i'm with you on the PC part. They should bring their older games to PC so that everyone can enjoy them, and i wouldn't have to rely on a emulator.
Well maybe, but first impressions are everything. This game will always be 2020's No man's Sky, that's what people will remember it as, personally i liked the game even with it's flaws.
It all depends what is their definition of this "Promise". I think they mean the road map that they had because i'm not seeing them doing anything major, it just wouldn't make sense monetary/business wise. But one can hope, right?
