well with 6-8 year development and 100's of people working, yeah it's expensive. in the past games were made in 1 to 2 years with smaller teams. it's just become almost too big. now we get 2 or 4 big games a year if we are lucky. in the past it was like 5-10 maybe. shit just takes too long now, like people get children that are starting school before some of these games come out it's crazy
this doesn't look all that bad maybe you should read it first. daily login, battle passes, loot boxes etc. will affect the rating although this only affects games that are going to be released from june onward, for now at least. they are looking at addictive design which are not good and online games are filled with them. though im not sure this will do much anyways so you're fine.

they better not remove the OG 5. That is my favorite one and the new dragon engine combat just doesnt even come close to that games satisfying combat. I hope GOG leaves the original games as is since they are all about preservation even though the new final fantasy games are based on the phone versions and PC versions... sigh

And all the other ones too, steam is a nice hub i dont mind them having a monopoly. They are the only one keeping all the other storefronts in check. When steam goes down it's all over at that point.
The architecture of all systems today is the same and if indie games can release on every platform so can square its literally just extra money even if its small amount. Like you want it not to be on xbox so bad like why do you care?
