and socom does suck. The controls are stupid, why could they not make a separate gernade button like 99 percent of shooters. The melee is the stupidest melee ever in a shooter, you cant' nife someone unless they are standing still and facing the other way. Who design the control scheme, where the button to accidently get pushed is the reload button so instead of shooting your guy is reloading becuase phucking socom does not let you change the phucking button layout. Socom is garbage and after owning it for 2 days now I listed on ebay. I have never had these many problems with a online multiplayer not even on the PS2 or xbox. Socom froze on me everytime I would turn my headset on and hit the talk button. It took 2 hours before got to play 3 minutes and then froze. Yesterday I played for 2 hours and every 3 minutes there would be a hicup ..I thought halo3 was bad, but socom takes the cake for 2nd dissappointment this gen....I hope R2 is better than this. I...
Review a game only if you have played it. I hate when fanboys scream flop on a review score without even playing the game for themself. Most of the games so far this gen that I like so far have score 8.5 or less. Kameo, Heavenly sword, Uncharted and games that got a 10 GTA4,Halo3 and MGS4 have dissapointed me.

I'm more angry as to why the installs and the game doesn't improve. I rather a game install to help the game run better and smoother than a game that doesn't install. If nintendo or sony release an rpg with a 10 hour story it would of got taken a point off. Graphics look horrible for a nextgen platform, load times, linear how can this game get a 9.0? zelda on wii took me 50 hours..I don't get the 8.8 score seems to high if the game is only 10 hours worth of story mode. I guess since it's 1st party 360 it gets an extra point where as a wii or ps3 game it would get a 7.0 for being to short and lastgen graphics
The ps3 comes with a controller, why do you need to pay $60 for a ds3 to play a game. So you mean the launch 360 didn't have hdmi so in your point of view it would cost an additional $300 to play 360 on hdmi if you bought a launch 360. if live was free I would probably get one. That's the reason I got rid my first 360. I hate the nickel and dime crap, 800 points just to change your gamertag crap like that gets on my nerve. LBP almost looks to good to be a game and looks as good as a PIXAR movie. LBP has the best graphics and physics I have ever seen in a game. It's going to be crazy when graphics like LBP go on to a big scale like FPS. now R2 graphics look insane. The game is running smooth like butter. At first I was giving the edge to Gears2 for graphics but not anymore. R2 just step it up a notch. I was getting R2 for sure but now I can't wait damn this game looks hot
I know people want to defend it but fact still stand Socom is not worthy of a purchase. I am so disappointed in Socom that I can't stand Sony right now.
