are you serious or fanboy blind, I hate that too even though you shoot someone they can still chainsaw you...also I hate random chainsaws where I'm nowhere near someone and yet I get chainsaw just because they have their chainsaw revved up..How many times have you walked behind someone to shoot them and all of a sudden you are getting chainsaw by a person that didn't even know you were behind them...It seems like everyone is just chainsaw crazy in gears2..It makes me not even want to play it ...
I have been playing gears2 multiplayer since released I can't beleave not one reveiw deducted points from gears2. Ain't part of the score longetivity, yet the online is broken, just as much as SOcom that got deducted by all reviews. I wonder why people think M$ pays for reveiws, things that make you go hum..I would give gears2 5/10 for the online and 9/10 for the single because of the c0-0p is fun, otherwise 8/10 if you play it alone...
Yeah i'm holding on to it, because I still have a blast playing it co-op. Gears2 should only be played co-op otherwise it gets repetitive and with snipers only, it would be cool if it was 4 player co-op..I can't wait for WAW to get delivered tommorow, i missed the beta already. I agree with you...Socom was deducted points for glitches, but gears2 has even worst glitches but noone mentions them. The online of gears2 is just as broken as Socom was..Gears2 online is so bad I stop playing it. How come none of the reviewer not even mention such flaws to the game. The first and biggest complain is the matchmaking which takes about 5-10 mintues to get a game going and that's if the host doesn't quit or people get tired of waiting and then you have to start the whole matchmaking all over again..Also after every match guess what, you have to go back to the main menu and start the whole match...
COD4 is a modern day and WAW is a ww2. The graphics are better on WAW, has 3 times as many guns, different perks, different story, setting, and most important co-op..Please explain what they rip off..that's like saying every game that used Unreal engine is a rip off from gears just because they use the same engine...

The multiplayer is sick. The graphics are better the only thing is you have to get used to the guns and the guns are more powerful than cod4. WAW almost feels like you are playing hardcore mode. I heard the story was supposed to be better than the first, it's the same...Let's face it gears is a game about shooting,chainsaw and just a ton of fun to play, but it's not about story so I wish people would stop saying that gears story is so incredible blah blah..I think I read like 10 articles about the story and after playing it, no story just alot of fun blasting and blowing sh1t up..
After playing the beta, trust me everyone I talked to said they were getting this game. This game is better than COD4 plain and simple. I was full prestige on COD4 and the beta ran really good no lag at all, really impressed with WAW
I didn't have high hopes for WAW but after the beta, I went out and preorder the game it's that good. The game feels better than COD4, it took a little while to get used to the guns and the guns have more power to them than COD4, if you shoot someone 1 or 2 times they mostly going to die, This game is sick. I sold COD4 on ebay for $30 so that's half the money right there
At first I wasn't really interested, but after I played the beta, I was really impressed and preorder it.
