Uncharted had screen tears and low res textures...You say that about uncharted then you spent most of your time looking for faults than actually enjoying playing the game. it's sad really because i was blown away by the graphics, and nothing else really comes close. I'm pretty sure Sony has been working on a slim version for sometime now, even before the PS3 launch. If you ever see a PS3 next to a 360, then you know why the PS3 is so expensive. A slim version would definitely cut down on the manufacturing process. There is a big difference in weight from the 60gb to the new 80gb PS3, it's like 2 1/2 pounds lighter. I seriously doubt it. You can bet that the PS3 will have a blu ray drive in it. The new blu ray disk can hold up to 400gb, so there is no game that will ever need more space. Video game console success depends on mass market appeal, so you have to include an optical drive since so many consoles are bough by the casaul market which dont really care to download games of the internet. I know I don't, I want a physical copy which I can sell or collect.

What I like about PSN is the 1st party online system, like games with R2, SOCOM where you can choose what types of maps, room, settings you want to play. Like gears2 online sucks, because the matchmaking makes the game almost unplayable. I like gears but after waiting 10 minutes to get into a game and then after the round ends I have to look for another room. Why even bother getting blu ray if the quality is the same as an upconversion dvd player, right?
