I can confirm my local KZ2 trophies are all gone after the PSN and Trophy Errors. I still can't play campaign either regardless. CoD4: MF (No Trophy support) works fine, Dragon Quest VIII for PS2 works fine as well. So my fat OG PS3 60GB can still play games that don't have Trophy support and backwards compatible isn't an issue. The date and time was reset to 12/31/1999 3:00 PM though, which I haven't tried to manually change yet in case it breaks my PS3 (Y2K bug?).

This is really bad, and I have the original fat 60GB model. I was just playing KZ2 earlier too and no issues until I read this article and turned my PS3 just to see if I'm affected.

I just traded in some NGC, PSP, PS2 and PS3 games and got $265US. The 50% boosted the trade in value for my old NGC, PSP & PS2 games. The only thing I want to know is how much HDD install requirement it will need for PS3. KZ2, didn't need any HDD install excluding Save function and patches and was smooth gaming for me. Being these guys are PC devs I figure C2 will need mandatory HDD install like majority of PS3 games, but just how much of it while the 360 version will run off disc.

I'm currently playing through for the 5th or so time, but with the Complete 2009 mod recently posted in an article on here. I'm liking the repair kit and service from Complete. I will definitely give this mod a try later. Those pictures look great and shows improved graphics quality over the original game's.
If you haven't already, be sure to patch it. Also, an article on here recently informed me of a mod that seem to improve on several things.
I've played the games several times through previously so this discovery prompted me back to to revisit the Zone. I do like some of the changes the mod made to the original game. It's a 600MB download and requires you to install the latest patch as well. Play through once and try the mod afterwards if interested.
I'm hoping this game turns out to be decent. I downloaded the JPN demo but have yet to even try it. I doubt I will know how to play it anyway without English text.
Like most on here I definitely want the following:
- Campaign Coop (split screen), even if it doesn't make sense story wise.
- MP split screen (four players offline with AI bots inclusion & 2 online), doesn't matter if there is degrade in graphics department as it's expected.
- Better integration of vehicle in campaign mode instead of dedicated levels. I liked the tank and robot levels a lot and didn't mind the air turret segment either. I just wishe...

@artsaber - I agree the graphics are very inconsistent and very noticeable on HDTV. Sometimes it looks good, but never great and other times just looks washed out and low quality like PS2 games. Sometimes it doesn't even look as good as FFX on PS2 (SDTV) from what I can remember of that game, which also had a female mage character Morrigan some what resembles. @DatNJDom81 - The KZ2 freezing you are experiencing are probably due to stage loading and saving. The game will briefly cease all screen activity for a few seconds to load the next portion of a stage or to save. It indicates loading or saving after unfreeze at the bottom right/left corner. Might require turning on Subtitle or something in Options setting to see activity display.

Great Game, that is quite lame that FC requires a 32-bit OS setup. I own FC as well but am using WinXP. I just looked for patches at Ubisoft.com and even the patches specify 32-bit only.

My fat 60GB has been affected by the PSN error. KZ2 is giving me Trophy Error so campaign is not working. PS2 backwards compatible and no Trophy support PS3 games (CoD4) still work though. I just played a bit of CoD4 SP and man that game is showing it's age.
