SingStar Dance is a great excuse for me to own Move since I already own SingStar and have accumulated a good size collection of songs. Time to do some research.

What do you mean re-released if you are referring to existing WaW maps already on PSN. I would assume Treyach (?) would just allow owners of those maps to use them in COD: BO, but I'm assuming they didn't. I have WaW three map packs and if I had to repurchase just for BO that would be a fan disservice especially if it's the same maps.

To me those maps packs weren't cheap either, because of the new additional MP maps inclusion even if we didn't want or car...

Totally agree and who the heck would disagree. Seriously, who in their right mind would repurchase games they already own on disc that's been directly ported on PSN with no HD and trophy support remake.

If Sony won't provide PS2 BC emulation for free then charge a reasonable price for it to give people the option. I think these kind of decisions can scar a company's reputation in the long run due to initially promoting features and then removing them and claiming...

Dlacy13g, I'm in agreement with you. I think it's a bait and switch move by Sony. I have the fat 60GB model and it's the best in terms of overall features as originally advertised. I understand cutting cost at hardware level, but how is it not possible to provide software emulation even if not 100% for those whom have collected a library of PS2 games that no longer have a PS2 console or it has worn out (DRE, etc.).

“One of the ideas that almost made it to market...

I agree with your logic solar.

Is it still 16v16? I liked the chaos of KZ2 so I'm hoping they didn't dial down the player count regardless of map size. Also, how is the controls if any different from KZ2?

LOL. (+1 for you both)

I've owned and played the main RE games on PS, PS2 and NGC excluding the lame first person or light gun and online games. The only challenge were the tank controls and auto-aim excluding RE4. Yes, there were puzzles but it wasn't about challenging and more about item management most of the time. Do I take an herb and extra ammo or should I leave some of my six/eight item slots empty for picking up more ammo types, a battery, and crank in the next areas before reaching the next storage...

Me too back in 2003 and probably still today (without additional mods other than flashlight). That game was just too dark and disturbing for me to play for long periods. All the background whispering effects, dark lonely atmosphere, PDA recordings of people slowly going insane, POS BB pellet weaponry, and cheap closet spawning in dark tight corridors were some times too much for long sessions.

Nice job on the interview. The background game play video looks good. 2011 is still so far away. KZ3 is day one purchase for me.

Those that haven't already might want to check out Demon's Souls as well for the same price after coupon codes too.

I think their overall production cost is probably a lot higher than NGS series combined. HS actually had a story narration that wasn't after thought ideas implemented later just for the sake of giving a sense of meaning to all the fighting. I'm sure all the actors cost them plenty of money. HS to me is still one of the better looking and story narration for a action adventure game, but the overall game play was definitely lacking compared to similar genre series like NGS, GOW, DMC, etc.

From reading the article my impressions of the game the lawsuit is over seems to be Dragon Age. Extra character and quest is "Golem" and is $15(?) DLC once free promotion code offer expires, but really can be any game with similar DLC concept.

Great for GOW3. I got my GOW3 preorder copy Tuesday and have yet to open it. Demon's Souls has got my full attention (2nd play through with new character) until later today after work. I've been trying to avoid the temptation, but I also got my order of BF: BC2 LE yesterday by mail also. Too many freaking games to play so I need to get on it soon. Awesome time to be a gamer.

Also see DOOM, S.T.A.L.K.E.R (THQ) and Bioshock series. For me DOOM 3 is the cheapest closet spawning environmentally scariest game I've ever experienced. Blast the volume and every and any sound will put you on red alert. Dead Space and Resident Evil series have nothing on DOOM 3 in terms of psychological effects.

A lot of people hated it in 2003/04, but I think it was more of being too scared to continue on even with flash light mod (PC, not sure about Xbox). That game just fe...

"their upcoming survival horror Metro 2033..."

I don't know if this is a good or bad idea, especially after playing S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC & Clear Sky (published by THQ?). Deceased enemies spawn area are always replaced with new ones in the Zone similar to Bioshock. From my initial readings this seems to be a similar game type and not a linear mission based shooter like COD series. There is trading also (bullets/ammo used as currency?).

So what happens whe...

Hopefully, a remake sooner than later. I'm glad PSN has FF VII & VIII available for those that missed out or were too young. I still have my original PS1 copies of VII-IX. I just hope they give us a better freaking ending, which was very disappointing. It seems SS now SE couldn't make up their mind in 1996/97 on how to conclude it. At least PSP Crysis Core filled in story gaps as a prequel of VII and provided a more satisfying game ending. Heck, the CG cutscenes in that game is better tha...

What ShadowFlare mention might be correct regarding no backwards compatible fat 80GB, because my brother's isn't affected either. His system clock didn't reset to 1999 or anything. My fat 60GB, my other brother's MGS Metallic Gray fat 40GB, and most likely my nephew's MGS backwards compatible fat 80GB are all affected. I've yet to mess with the clock setting so it's still 199912 and time cycle seems to be looping.

Anyone affected attempt to manually adjust clock? Does it reset if...
