Same here, and I honestly don't understand how they are reviewing games for VR at the moment.
I mean, the experience is so new and every game is such a change from traditional gaming. What are they comparing these VR games against to be reviewed so badly?
I have not been disappointed with a single VR experience/game yet. Maybe I am just different, but after gaming since the Commodore 64 and to now having a VR set-up in my own living room...it is simp...
Really fun game!
The immersion is great and I really like how there is a theme for each level. There seems to be quite a few secret tracks and alternate routes which is nice.
I spent seriously like 10 mins just looking at the Kitchen and details before even starting the demo. It is very cool.
The killer app is pretty much any game you play on VR at the moment. They almost all have their "wow" and "omg" moments.
Yes, the resolution could be better, but this is the first gen of VR. This is like people passing on the original Nintendo system because they are expecting a Super Nintendo experience. The tech will advance and the experience will improve. It is almost scary to think what will become of VR in future gens.
I am sup...
strongly disagree. The point of gaming is to have fun, and PSVR is incredibly fun.
I remember waiting in line for the PS2 and PS3. The PS3 release almost turned into a brawl at the location I was at, lots of running and pushing. Now a days you just pre-order and pick it up, far less exciting, but I don't miss the madness of the crowds.
off-topic, just thought this was funny. PSVR definitely is immersive.

Before I got my PSVR I kept saying "RIGS is going to be the first game I play" ....so I played VR all last night and still haven't checked it out!
Looking forward to finally climbing in my Rig today.
I understand the hesitation, but definitely try it out if you get a chance. No amount of words or opinions can describe how it actually feels to experience VR.
I am not saying this is going to replace traditional gaming, but it truly is a "next gen" experience and something I wouldn't rule out without giving it a try.
Everyone that I have demoed this thing with has been amazed.
Have your tried it? Seriously, I'm not being rude, but I really don't think you should label yourself "not into VR" if you have not even checked it out.
I haven't played a single AAA game on my PSVR yet and it is still totally worth $500. I have zero regrets about my purchase.
PSVR is awesome. It is amazing how immersive everything feels while actually playing with it. This is definitely the start of something big, no joke.
Very cool, have been wanting to check this demo out!

I didn't buy Destiny, Streetfighter, or NMS. This is about timed exclusivity. I don't have a problem with full exclusive titles. I would rather have MS buy exclusive rights than just 1 year exclusivity. At least that way we know were everyone stands and I don't have to listen to these companies talk from both sides of their mouth pandering to two groups of fans.
Timed exclusivity on any platform is wrong.
It can make you die if you choose poorly.
I don't think you know what the word "need" means.
Yeah, when I hook my PSVR up to my PS4 tomorrow, it is only going to show a black screen because PGRfox told me PS4 is not VR ready.
I don't care if it was the best game ever made. My principles are more important that experiencing a game. They made a business decision on timed exclusivity, so am making my own business decision not to buy this game. If they treat me like a second hand consumer, then I am not supporting them.
I am totally fine with the next game being exclusive to MS, they can have it, along with their crappy sales.
24 hours until RIGS is inches from my face!! watch out pilots, dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge.....or die.
I did manage to pre-order the bundle in the States. I too had two Move controllers from PS3, but one of them was acting goofy so I just decided to get the bundle. Even so, it seems you can get by just using the DS4 for the majority of titles.
I imagine you will find a bundle somewhere next month. I am curious to see how much hardware will be available leading up to Christmas. It certainly is exciting being so close to experiencing VR in our living rooms. Even if people are...
Do you use glasses? Have you had your eyes checked out before?
