What about the convenience of re-selling your game, lending the game to a friend, or taking your game to another system? Those are more important than having to change a disc. real ownership is more of a convenience than anything.

Yes, you can view any type of media through the visor including any video game. I will warn you however that the resolution is not all that great when using PSVR this way. I would definitely suggest you try out a PSVR for yourself however. It is first and foremost a way to play VR games. Using it as a second option to view movies or regular PS4 games is just a bonus. I personally would never use the VR for watching a movie or playing a standard game, but I also have a large TV to game on. ...

Well, I am loving my PSVR and I only have the standard PS4 with no plans on purchasing a Pro at this point.
I really don't see how options are a bad thing. You have great VR with PS4 and you can have even better VR with the Pro.
I don't really like the idea of mid gen console upgrades, but if it doesn't split the user base and we all get to play the same games throughout the generation, then it doesn't really affect me as a consumer.

I would rather have a new experience over nice graphics. Plus you would be able to experience everything Playstation has to offer until PS5 comes out.
