If there was no woman in the reveal, then this wouldn't even be a big discussion. The "woman" IS the driving force behind all this complaining. You don't have to admit it, but you know it's true.
Also, unless they are quoted saying this is a historically accurate depiction, then no, they are not contradicting themselves.

Yeah, the game is so realistic. I mean, the way my teammates revive me with paddles and I'm ready to go in seconds. Or coming back from the brink of death with a med pack. Or jumping out of a plane, sniping someone on the ground, then get back inside my plane and fly away. I mean, those were standard occurrences in all wars. You guys really need to get over this authentic argument. It's a video game, not a historical reenactment of actual war events. How boring would ANY of these war games be if they were authentic. Fun comes before reality. I don't care for the reveal, but you guys are ridiculous. It's a backdrop for the setting, nothing more. If you want authentic go watch the History channel.

I think this game looks way better than LBP...as far as individuals creativity coming to life. Seeing what people made with the LBP tools was pretty amazing. I have a feeling the community will put out some awesome content that is not bound to the LBP "look".
