On the surface, it seems like a plausible explanation and you want a big attach rate to a new IP and a cheaper price point is a good place to start. But is it all there is to it?
Is it insane that I want Okami HD on my vita and my ps4? Ugh if only, Okami (even the ps2 version) would be great on the vita. Why hasn't Sony ported some ps2 games to it, open up its library and see Vita fly off the shelves.

The software will be compatible between the two iterations, same thing with the Neo (it seems, all speculations), so those who can't afford it at launch will catch on later. Not that I am going a Scorpio or a Neo anytime soon. I don't even have an xbox one yet.

you'd think they'd probably have a couple booths for PSVR, I mean Gamescom is in Europe, in Cologne Germany to be exact. Great way to promote VR to the European market but there's also Paris game week, so what do I know? lol
They are also probably gearing up for the Tokyo game show (my second favorite after E3), I love me some japanese games.
