Just played a match where the medic kept chasing the creature and going head to head with it. Of course he died and the monster wiped the floor with us. The stupidest thing is, the medic has a SINGLE SHOT SNIPER rifle. WTF are you doing right in front of the beast?
Yes Metacritic matters whether you agree with it or not. Publisher contracts with developers base performance bonuses on Metacritic scores, so I would say it's a pretty important measure.
It's also a first impression, and a bad one at that. It's open for everyone to see, not a closed group of select gamers that keep up with everything. Nobody cares it's a beta, they care about pricing, and if the first thing they see is ridiculous pricing it means they'll have a hard time getting people to take a second look.

They might have a deny button if you don't want to play as the monster. I would imagine it wouldn't force you to play as one if you don't want to.
Uncharted's teaser looked awesome, but you can't compare such a small snippet with what seems to be a pretty sizable demo of Bloodborne. I have no doubt though that UC4 will look incredible.

Mine lags all the time. Takes forever to open friends, to pull up their profiles, to open apps. Absolute poo. The X1 UI is a tortoise compared to the PS4, which is sad because it was the other way around last gen. I hate using my X1 just because of the UI interface. It's frustrating as hell. Those who think it's not slow don't have a PS4 to compare it to.
