I hate save points in RPGs. In the days of yore, typewriters and floating green crystals were better than the 3 lives(Contra) method, but in this day an age, we don't like repeating an area or whole level over and over to move on. Are we less hardcore? Maybe, but I personally love games for the story as well as the gameplay. I like a little challenge, but I not having to repeat major areas from dying. I usually play a game on Normal the first go, for the story. Then harder for the trophie...
This is the next gen of arcade shooters. It's a post apocolyptic B-movie rolled up in a stellar sci-fi action game full of sweet fatality moves, points to rack up, and cheezy one-liners to throw out while you go on a murderous rampage across a lush and violent planet. ODST could of stayed an expansion pack. $60 to add a map pack set that every Halo fan own already. Only 3 new maps with the 4 hour game. Shady MS work was a foot. What was worse is that ODST was graphically worse than Halo 3. The game was ready in March as well, and they kept it around until September. That was a lot of bad joo-joo on Microsoft's part. Good game the presentation was bananas.
ODST did have the best life action trailer this gen, followed by Resistance 3. ...

I want Ni No Kuni on PS3 with Move support like the DS does with the touchscreen. After seeing that awesome Sorcery gameplay trailer, I want go motion in an adventure or RPG game. I hope that 300+ page book comes to the states with NNK's DS/PS# version. I watched the unboxing. The book is like Fallout's Strategy guide. Everything is in there, from all the spells to recipes and more. Day one.
Child of Eden looks so amazing. I love the HD tripping and in the integrated videos of that girl. This I am getting on PS3, I hope for some sort of support of motion. I know it uses the DS3, but I hope for Dual Move or Eye motion. This is a simple motion so however they implement it, it should be fine. The visuals are mindblowing.

On Topic. Congrats to Dance Central. I didn't know how it was selling. The only Kinect game I see on the chartz is Kinect Advnetures. Harmonix doesn't usually dissapoint.

Yeah Portal was a challenge, Poratl to will be one beautiful nightmare of challenge. The co-op looks really cool. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

They just mean that the level design will be more diverse. In Drake's Fortune, you basically had the cover that was infront of you. But in Among Thieves, they designed the world so that you had many options on how to negociate the areas. Take a roof, through a house, around a statue. In this one, they will give you the chance to make the combat your own story.
They wouldn't be working on two games at once. So we would get a COD every other year, which would make me happy. Every year it is the same thing. It's getting stale.
