I know exactly Both companies have done their remakes ,remasters.
Some are worthy.
Some are a cash grabs
Some are for nostalgia
And some are very lazily done.

Anyway,....personally speaking, BC is for ME and probably millions of other parents as well a "game changer"..in fact apart from Microsoft letting my children play the games they had for...

So I take it all the remastered/ remakes Sony has done and will continue to do is not what you signed up for when you purchased a ps4? I'd new experiences ( new games) over old experiences( remakes remasters)
Fan demand....it's the gaming customers that are keeping Sony afloat just now. Perhaps they should listen to them.
BC may not be important to u or others, but as a parent it is fantastic for my children...and of course me.
Price is all that matters.
I get it honestly I do.
Average age of games matter also.
As a parent, there is no way in hell would I let my sons spend the hours they do on their console just now and let them have the same time with a mini tv strapped an inch from their eyes.
At some point you have to ask yourself the damage this WILL cause.
And don't even ask me for links,evidence, proof etc...if you have a job that involves sitting in front of a compu...
Hence the need to ensure the software is 110% functional.
God forbid you get frame dips, etc during gameplay, any thing that's not 110% accurately represented in your field of vision will incur the above issues.
The devs need to step up, and output games that are not broken before release, otherwise the cons will out way the pros.
I have read countless comments on here stating that sub 1080 p resolution games are non playable for those that posted the comm...
The game will sell extremely well.
Not based on the gameplay but based on the fact it has " Star Wars" in the title and the timing with the movie .
BC is a godsend to me as a parent.
It has enabled my son to enjoy past games he had on his 360.
A good game is a good game no matter the graphics.
He has been playing fallout 3 again till he gets fallout 4 from his Christmas.
One must ponder this,...will the devs who agree to this,..and possibly see a surge of games being played on the Xbox one, that maybe never was played for a while,..will this now not give them an incentive to offer more support for their ga...
Who knows what the future will bring.
If Microsoft envisage an eco system to play your games on all windows 10 devices, and blurs the lines between console and PC, I cannot see how they will not make PC games go to Xbox one.
Think about it,..its been stated very little work to port games from Xbox to PC with dx12.
One could then envisage this vice versa.
If this does happen, then the sheer amount of games available, the devices to play them on would be insurmou...
Tomb raider is doing its own thing.
Uncharted will be doing its own thing.
As long as both are trying to improve and supersede their OWN previous game, then each will receive critical acclaim.
The trouble is that as good as Nuaghty Dog are,...they are placed upon a pedestal by some as being gods.
IF they do not live up to the promise of delivering a better incarnation of their previous uncharted games, due to fans high expectations, this then may cause a backla...
Then the term console exclusive dies.
No more rabid fanboys tearing at each other's throats.
Unicorns and rainbows with candy cane trees.
It all comes down to money.

It is an exclusive after all to a console that's selling by far the best .
It would be interesting to see how much revenue it generates the first week.
It's a good franchise, I was just hoping someone would gauge how the collection went as its touted as being a classic.

Seriously though,..I agree on the part that probably Black Friday deals,bundles, and with sales for Christmas this has effected PS4......... AND XBox One.

Now any word on the uncharted collection numbers/ revenue generated, just so we can gauge how succesfull Sonys flagship title did as a must have collection?
On another side note, with the issue of Black Friday deals and now that's being embraced here in the UK more n more each year, and with Santa coming soon,..I would think it's logical thinking to appreciate people are willing to wait till the deals...

Microsoft considered the Xbox 360 owners and the desire for BC.
