Ive said it before and I will say it again,
Xbox exclusive term will change to be " Windows 10" exclusive.
A much more wider demographic than any console battle alone.
Sure Xbox may never catch up with ps4, but Windows 10 devices capable of playing Microsoft exclusives means a much much larger return in profit from software, compared to the profit from hardware alone.
I can see why some people are upset about this, but looking at a much larger picture...
perhaps one should question why your PC has to be upgraded to run this game.
It will be interesting to see what peeps make of this as the One is not perceived as being powerful, nor DX12 make a difference to the One,..yet with the fact that your PC will need an upgrade, it begs the question, how much optimisation has DX12 given the One?
even if the game is not fully DX12, then what will a game look like when it is dx12 from the ground up?

As you basically say,.high sales do not equate quality, nor do low sales determine the quality of said product.
It's a beta.
People can try a snapshot of the game, and gain an insight if they wish to purchase it based on THEIR opinion and not off a damned review score.
Sad thing is, how many games have you purchased, paid full price only to be let down?

I accept its maybe an intrest to you to base your gaming purchases from DF.
I accept that if you need DF to find issues then the issues are not issues to the gamer when they are so small that DF ran hour after hour of gameplay albeit Beta gameplay so they can validate their site.
I accept that DF has the software to find such small issues that it enables you to choose what you perceive as an issue.
I do not accept that a beta gameplay tested b...

PC/ Windows 10 devices I would think will capitalise on the cloud tech.

Devs will create the best they can with minimal time on various platforms, and since its been stated PC gets Xbox games dx 12 easier to port games, then common sense tells you PC...

Let's assume as it would varies as per Dev the percentage of improvements.
Would you be willing to put your neck on the block and say it gives x% improvement, only for some devs not being as good as another at using it?

I understand the need for some remasters after a set time it's acceptable, yet devs are shoving remasters of games only years after original release.
Far better to pay full price for a new game one you haven't played before than a remaster of one you played just some years ago surely??

It seems to be only an issue with those who do not understand it's a work in progress, something the devs have reiterated time and time again.
As for voicing criticism and not allowing a "free pass"....

No one is going and paying for this game unaware it's a work in progress.
At the end of the day if you or I wish to spend our money on this then it is OUR choice.
