TBH this has nothing to do with the gamers, it was a business decision. They would be there to promote their games and services. They can do that just fine in many other ways at many other times. We have nothing to do with this decision.

This is terrible from microsoft. Whats the point in upgrading if you can just play the game on current hardware?
Also this means that all exclusives in the firsy year will have to be gimped in order to run on old 2013 hardware. What an utterly ridiculous move.

Ps now has bloodborne, uncharted 4 and god of war on it. These alone completely blow away anything quality wise on game pass. Then u have plenty other games on it. So defo ps now, has both better quantity and quality of games regardless of release age.

Sustainable as they can absorb the associated losses of the service but no chance is it profitable in of itself. I mean they have basically been giving away games for free. Games cost a lot of money to develop and market. It also costs them to pay developers for their games on the service.

Well deserved. The only company that has brought a good steady stream of quality exclusive software.
Still really bumed that this will be restrained to have to work on original xbox one hardware. Really wanted it to take full advantage of new the xbox.

It says that it has backwards copatibility with all previous playstation platforms. That alone makes this list completely FALSE. No Chance this is happening.
