It could obviously as Microsoft can set any price they want but the logic is that it will dearer than that as we know the parts are pricey and they have said themselves that It will be more expensive.

Yeah but ps4 has been out for double that time and has over 1.2 billion software sales. So switch aint getting even close to that.
Also the ps2 had over 1.5 billion software sales. So it really drives in how bad the switch software sales are in comparison. Not having those third party games on their system really hurts.
I got it too. Had to but a new set off of Amazon with the kit to open and replace the analogues.
Absolutely agree. There hasnt been any where near enough exclusive content on it for that to be the reason. Obviously the lower price helps a lot too.
The software sales really are low though. To put in comparison ps4 had software totals of 279 million in 2019 ALONE. Seen as thats where real money is made that must be concerning for nintendo.
Piracy is thriving on switch too which makes it compelling to own one to play free games.
Cant remember the last time I used my switch. Luigis mansion I think and this year has been barren bar Animal Crossing which is a non game to me due to it being basically a bigger budget mobile game.
Software sales of 356.24 isnt that great neither esspecially in comparison to the playstations.

I never said game pass isnt good for xbox gamers. It obviously is. Great value. All i did was point out the facts of it being a bad business decision.

Even if all of those 10 million pay full price the point is its still a very low number both in subcription numbers and revenue generated. Growth isnt good if it hasnt grown to a large enough number to sustain itself.

Yeah with a massive chunk of those being in the 1 pound deal that keeps coming up. Or even the reduced price deals of 3 pounds a month.
Also dont forget 10 million is a small number for a subscription service. It confirms that microsoft must be losing money hand over fist to keep the service running. They have to pay developers to get the games on the service. Alot of money to offset what the developer would get with a normal release.
