Anything needs to come to the switch at this point. The third year is usually when a console comes into its own in terms of content but this year has been barren for Switch. Needs anything of note on it. No idea what Nintendo are doing.

Thats not the point. How come literally every other developers characters stay consistant through out the generations but just capcom get it wrong for so many of their characters? its amateur stuff.
At the end of resi 7 when chris appears people including myself, literally couldnt tell it was chris due to how much they have fucked with his design. People thought it was hunk or other characters. Thats simply not good enough.
Capcom's handling of character designs through generations is an embarrassment. Theres no cohesion for the design at all. Chris has changed designes so many times its a running joke now.
I like both. The series x does look a bit more bland in comparison but both still look great for different reasons.

This is the wrong choice. Only through a sequel can they make proper actual changes to the core gameplay systems and engine. I hate live service games that just go on and on. No proper changes or innovation can be made.

It doesnt need to. Remember that Sony have made more money off of the PS4 than the PS2. More money than any console maker ever.
Not only that, It has sold the amount of PS4's it has whilst not dropping the price much at all. The ps2 for the last couple years of its life was at a much lower price point therefore helping it to sell units massively.
All in all, the PS4 is by far the most successful console ever made.
Ff12 battle system made xenoblade hard to enjoy. Basically xenoblade is a poor mans ff12. Also of course ff7 remake is different but much better too.

Giving that option isnt a simple toggle. This would require more work and costs to optimize the game to be able to work at a higher framerate and lower graphics. Some developers might not be able to cover those costs. So an option isnt always viable.
TBH this is correct and obvious. Developers will always generally have the choice bewtween increasing graphics\resolution or framerate. One of these things sells, the other doesnt so makes sense on why one would be prioritised.
