I'm not too fond of RTS games myself, I find them extremely repetitive. I would really love to see some more RTS/FPS style games, though, maybe even with some RPG elements added in.
The guy would be an idiot because it's just a beta.. Add that $100 with purchasing the game when it's out, so that's another $60, plus another $40 for whatever expansions they bring out.
That's at least $200 right there, when they could have saved $100 by waiting patiently for when they give out some more codes.
Exactly, it's not doing any harm to Blizzard. It's not like someone is taking their game and selling it to others as their own..
If someone is stupid enough to pay that much for something like that then so be it.
It does shows you that some people have no patience, though. It's not like they won't be sending out more codes later on.. I bet the people that buy these will be hating themselves when that happens.
Someone cannot really become "addicted" to a video game.
Drugs, cigarettes, and junk like that tell the brain that it needs more and more to keep it satisfied, whereas video games it doesn't work like that.
The problem is that people, mostly kids, are telling themselves they're addicted to video games, so they're basically making themselves believe it. They could do this for a number of reasons, but a lot of it has to do with boredom, status (wanting to be ...
Well, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by not being able to keep up with Kratos, but they could always put in more enemies in a co-op mode, that way it would slow the pace down while giving both players some more action. Imagine more enemies on a higher difficulty with two players, and having to both work together to take down bosses, that would be some pretty sweet stuff right there. =P
I'm always waiting for a game to come around that will give players an epic co-op experienc...
I didn't know what to expect from this game, but gameplay wise it almost looks a bit like a cross between Fallout 3 and Resistance. It seems kind of cool.
Hopefully there will be a demo for it at some point.
The whole button mashing style of combat isn't really my thing, though I did really like Soul Calibur IV, and also the Dante's Inferno and Bayonetta demos.
The biggest problems I have with games in this style is there usually isn't much for replayability, and they're always short (something around 10 hours is short, in my opinion).
Some of these games do look pretty great, especially GoW III, but I just can't bring myself to spend all that money on them. There's alwa...
The only reason it seems so bad on Live is because there are a lot more players with a mic. What's sad though is that from my experience, almost every single player I have played a game with on PSN that used a mic was a total moron. It's always either music in the background, constant background noise or other people talking, a 10 year old singing, or someone just being a typical douchebag.
If I were to go by what I've came across, I would say it's about 1 idiot out of every 3 pe...
How does listing more games than what I did prove anything? The PS3 may have more exclusives coming, sure, but most of them aren't anything worth getting excited for. There are really only a couple of great games in your list, Heavy Rain and GOW III, and possibly The Last Guardian.
I'm not being a fanboy, if that's what you think. I own all 3 current gen consoles and love each one. I'm just stating that, for the most part, the 360 has the better games this year.
The PS3 does have some pretty great games this year, like Heavy Rain, but the 360 has this year made.
- Halo: Reach
- Mass Effect 2
- Alan Wake
- Fable III
- Splinter Cell: Conviction
- Crackdown II
- Natal
Halo: Reach alone would pretty much make this the year for 360.
So you'd really want it to pick up a gun every single time you walked over it? Don't you think that would be extremely annoying, especially in combat?
*gets ready to fire at someone with my AR up close, accidentally steps over a plasma pistol that was dropped and picks it up, dies*
Seems pretty retarded, don't you think?
Also, there are different control setups in Halo 3, so you don't have to use the default setup or anything.. Is it really that hard to ...
In ODST it made sense not to have dual-wielding. They're just ODST's, not some superhuman Spartan. It would be pretty hard for a normal person to dual-wield any kind of weapon, no matter how much they've trained with it.
In Halo 3 the dual-wielding wasn't pointless or anything, but it was mainly just there to give the players more choice. All of the weapons were pretty balanced. If they don't end up putting it in Reach I'll be perfectly fine with it.
A lot of people ...
Well first of all, all of these people getting the helicopter never once bother to look at controls. If they did that then they would at least have a basic understanding on how to fly the thing, and wouldn't be all over the place as soon as they got in the c0ckpit. Second, if they really want to fly and get better at it they should wait for when they're in a game where there are far less players.
I do agree that it can be pretty hilarious when some noob gets in one, though. They ...
@TengkuAmir10
It only takes two shots every time, or more, for the people who aren't all that great at sniping. A good sniper will be able to take someone out from just about any distance away with their first shot a lot of the time. If you're not skilled enough to get headshots at least 1/4th of the time then you shouldn't be using that class anyway.
Also, in BC2 there isn't any real camping for the most part. If they see you, you can usually see them. Sure, some pe...
What makes it worse though, is that almost 100% of the time it's someone who is complete garbage at flying the thing. As soon as they take off they're all over the place, then about 10 seconds later, if that even, boom! Once it respawns it's the same thing all over again.
People need to learn that if they're that bad at flying the thing then they shouldn't be messing with it. They're stupid though, so they'll continue to get in it every single time and crash into something. The h...
@SonySoldierEternaL
Hmm, it says that Gaylo is the Halo you play...
Ooohh!, so that's why I'm always hearing people speak of this "Gaylo", because some Playstation fanboys must have made their own version to suit their homosexual tastes. Halo must be too manly for you guys, and we all know you want it on your system so bad, so I guess you came up with some newer "fairy" version to call your own.
Well, I certainly support your rights t...
Never heard of that game.
Must be you're just stupid and don't know how to spell correctly.
I thought the demo on the 360 was pretty awesome, I had a lot of fun with it. The only reason I never bought it was because I knew it wasn't the kind of game people would keep playing months and months after it was released.
I've seen a ton of people saying that they thought the game sucked, but I have never seen anyone give an actual reason as to why. All they say is "it takes too long to kill someone" when it really doesn't at all, unless you have your guy setup wrong...
Of course they know people would still have bought Halo 3 even if it would of had crappy graphics. That's because The gameplay is awesome, and the game itself has so much to it. I still would have spent my money on it if it still looked like Halo 2, because it's a great game.
Also, Bungie is definitely not some "money hungry slut". Sure, they like money, but they're not the kind of company that is engulfed with greed. They care about their games and put all of their eff...
For this generation, I think I'm going to have to go with Mass Effect. It really is such a great game, there isn't anything else like it. I still need to pick up Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age, though..
I'm still not sure what my favorite game was last gen, though.. It's a really hard choice between Knights of the Old Republic and Morrowind. They're both totally different, yet extremely awesome.
