Open Zone or not, people who leave comments like this should never be allowed to post on N4G again.

There is WAY too much of this crap on the site..

I don't care what the genre is, if a game is single player only and costs around $60, then it should be NO LESS than 15 hours long. 5 hours is way too short, and 10 just isn't enough. 15 would be ok as long as the quality of it was great. Anything under 15 hours needs to either have some good replay value, or a cheaper price tag. All of this should apply to co-op games as well.

If a game has online multiplayer, then it's alright if the single player is shorter, but anything less ...

I haven't heard of this game before, but it looks like a pretty good tower defense game. I've spent hours upon hours playing all of those flash based defense games, lol, I'm sure I could spend tons of time with this.

Well, good luck to everyone.

It's going to be KoTOR all over again...

I'd be all for it, but no company does these MMO games right.. Most of them are exactly the same thing.

- They're simple
- Dull combat systems
- Extremely repetitive
- Boring after the first few hours
- No real quests or missions
- They are just about grinding, grinding, and more grinding...
- Usually never really offer anything but combat
- They take no skill to play
- They'r...

Well this certainly is a different take on the series. From what I can tell by the screens, it seems like it could be pretty cool. The addition of co-op is definitely nice to hear, we really need more games to have that feature. Hopefully we'll see some gameplay videos soon.

I may end up buying this game if it's any good, it mostly just depends on how many hours of gameplay it will offer. I'm guessing not much at all, probably be somewhere around 5 hours at the most. I'll be real...

I never had a problem using my 360 controller when I played Portal. It was totally playable for me, so I'll be picking up Portal 2 for my 360 as well.

I do play tons of FPS's, though, so that kind of helps. I can see someone who isn't used to FPS games having trouble doing certain things in Portal, so I guess maybe that's why it was a problem for you.

I have been waiting for them to announce this.

Even though the first Portal was pretty easy, and short as heck, it was still really awesome to play.

I just hope that this one will at least be 3 times longer, and have more of a challenge to it. A secondary story mode for team-work based puzzles would be pretty cool, too.

Most of all, though, I hope they don't do something to screw it up, like adding weapons or something stupid like that..

Nope.

Wow, this game is looking so great.

Jetpacks, loadouts, sweet new weapons, new game modes. This is just what is going to be in the beta.. Just imagine what they're keeping secret until the game will be launched.

I can't wait to try this out.

Every day tons of MMO players lose their accounts. Want to know what the sad thing is? A HUGE chunk of those lost are because the person gave their passwords to a "friend".

If these people weren't so stupid, took care of their computers, and used some sense, most of these accounts would never have gotten hijacked in the first place.

- Never sign in to anything on another persons PC
- Don't visit any unofficial sites about the games you're playing (unl...

That is a great question, and here is your answer.

They won't.

Ok, that might not be 100% true, but for the most part, it is. You won't be playing real games in the way you are thinking, except for a select few. Mostly you'll just be using Natal to do simple actions. So FPS style games just won't work out, it would require way too much effort and time just to do something like walking around.

Playing a FPS on Natal hands-free makes you extremely limited,...

Gears of Milo, lmao.. That picture is so stupid, I love it.

Natal could sell pretty well, we'll just have to wait and see. I just know I'm interested in seeing how it plays out, since Nintendo already sucked in all of those casual players with the Wii.

I thought it was a bucket of paint at first..

Eh, he probably won't even bother reading my reply.

You come to expect all of these rude comments and such after being around here long enough. I guess I had it coming, though, since I didn't explain myself in my first post. We all know that people can't just be mature and just leave a simple "why".. Everyone always has to come back at you acting like an idiot.

Thanks, though. Have a bubble.

One reason I say it will probably be underpowered because Apple knows NOTHING about gaming.

The biggest reason, though, is Apple loves to overprice everything, so they'll have to go extremely cheap on the hardware if they want it to sell at all. The more powerful the hardware, the more it will cost to build it. The more it costs to build it, the more they'll have to charge. On top of that they'll basically add in a fee just for the Apple logo, so it would then get pretty pricey. ...

5814d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Wow.. if this is true, then pretty much the only people who would be buying it are the apple fanatics. I know that I wouldn't spend a dime on apple's overpriced products, especially when there are things out there that are far better, and cheaper.

I don't see many developers bothering to develop for it, but you never know.

What I'm pretty sure about is that it will be;

- Overpriced
- Underpowered
- And probably similar to this awesome thing (...

10 hours, single player only? Eh...

Unless the game turns out to be fantastic, I'm probably not going to spend my money on it. Maybe when it gets down around $25 I'll check it out.

I wouldn't say I'm waiting for the game, but I do hope that it will get released.

Someone else could come along and finish it, you never know.

It's things like this that just keeps you hoping.

Out of those two, my vote would go to Mass Effect 2. I'm not much for the button mashing style of combat, but GoW 3 does look like it will be great.

Honestly, though, I have no idea what game will deserve the title 'GOTY' this year. The year just started not too long ago, so we have a long way to go.

If I were to take a guess at what *MY* 'GOTY' will be, though, I would have to say Halo: Reach.

Ah, thanks. I took it out of my list.

I just searched it on Wikipedia, December 12, 1999. I knew it was pretty close to 2000, lol.
