I actually liked it a lot. It sort of has a Planet Side feel to it. I think it would make one heck of an MMO if it did some things like Planet Side.
I think most people don't like the game because it requires teamwork, and most players just want to feel like they're a one man crew while playing their games. That's why things like Halo and CoD are so popular. (which I do love, by the way)
The only time I hear mention of this game from players is wh...
This is actually a pretty cool game. You guys really shouldn't bash on something if you've never even played it. We all know that you guys do that too much as it is.
I'd love to actually own the game, for either 360 or PS3, but I know that there wouldn't be very many players at all. People only ever play Halo and CoD, they don't bother giving other games a chance.
So many great games get little attention, it's really sad.
Yes, they do need to change the controller, at least a little.
The design of the controller, as well as the analog stick placement, really needs to be changed. The controllers have never been all that comfortable to use, except for maybe those who have never used anything BUT a PS controller.
At the very least, the R2 and L2 triggers definitely need some kind of change. They just don't feel right, and just plain suck to use. Most games don't even use ...
I found the live-action ads to be pretty awesome.
Sure, they were extremely low budget and a bit cheesy, but so what? I'd still pay to see a full length movie like that. It would be a heck of a lot better than most of the movies Hollywood comes out with, anyway..
Maybe you should check out some cheesy movies once in a while, there are some pretty great one's out there.
The only way a great game could be turned into a great movie is if the game developers/writers worked on it themselves, or right along with these Hollywood idiots.
I'm getting really sick of all these game movies getting destroyed.. Sometimes I swear they do it on purpose.
I'd rather see a Halo movie over GoW, but if they were done right they'd both be pretty kick-ass.
A wind generator is definitely needed.
I hate having to rely on using a darn rocket to move my pirate ships through the water! =(
Wow.. If all of this stuff is true, this is going to be freaking amazing.
I've been trying to do my own little RPG for LBP, but I can't give it that special touch, or do all that much with it at all, because it is pretty limiting. Hopefully with LBP 2 I'll be able to completely redo it and make it awesome. I really can't wait.
Reach, LBP 2.. Those two games alone will make this one of the best years in gaming, ever. At least in my opinion.
I tend to get pretty pissed at certain times when I'm gaming. I don't get mad playing single player games at all, though, it's only when I'm playing a game online.
My main reason for getting mad is because of all the pathetic morons that just sit and camp. That's pretty much what everyone does in games these days, even the more skilled players. I love MW2, but it has to have the biggest percentage of campers than any other game out there. If it wasn't for these kinds of "pla...
With that name alone, I would never even think about visiting a game site called that.
Whoever came up with it is either a moron, or a genius. I can see tons of little kids using that as there game site of choice and thinking it's awesome just because of the name. Kids certainly are stupid like that.
Hmm, with any luck, though, all of the little immature kids here could all head over there and call that home. That would be like a dream come true.
Haha, I remember back when I was playing Doom 3 for the first time, I was sure I was almost finished with the game, and then at one point the game screen just turned black after one of those creepy moments. At first I was like, "oh sh**, was that the end?", but right after I realized that it froze..
Afterwords, I thought that something like that could make a great ending to a scary game, if it was done just at the right time, and the sequel could pick up right after or ...
It's not franchises that are killing gaming. Instead, it's the developers/publishers that are killing gaming by ruining great franchises.
Examples:
Resident Evil (It's not even RE anymore)
CoD (Because of all the glitches, aiming the game at campers/noobs, etc)
Guitar Hero/Rock Band (Overdoing it)
Tony Hawk (Also overdoing it, totally killed it with Ride)
Sonic (Do I need to say more?)
Franchises are great, it's just what these companies...
What does not liking a control scheme have to do with being spoiled? Also, why would hating a control scheme not make me a true gamer? It certainly is not my fault if a developer comes up with something pretty crappy.
The control scheme itself isn't really what I'm complaining about anyway. I can get used to control schemes well, it takes me no time at all. I can also go between any systems with no problem, and have been doing so since I was around 4 years old.
What ...
Wow, that level looked completely horrible..
If there is one horrible level in the game, there are bound to be others. Sonic Team just cannot make a good Sonic game anymore. They're either trying too hard, or not trying hard enough. It's hard to tell.
The co-op demo was pretty cool, but this multiplayer demo is pretty crappy.. Every match I played was a complete lag-fest, too. It was literally impossible to kill people at times because of it.
It doesn't help the game any that the PS3 controller setup is garbage.. After just 5 minutes of playing your hands start to feel all cramped up and junk. I was hoping they would have had a good alternative controller setup, but nope.. Whoever had the idea to use the R2 button for firing i...
While the idea of this is awesome, it just doesn't make all that much sense right now. It takes more from your system to run a game in a browser than it would just to launch it from your desktop.
Until browsers start taking little to nothing at all to run, a game is just best played from its own launcher.
But damn, seeing this video really makes me want to get back into Quake II again. =P
Well if this is true, I'm pretty sure that it's either because the slim 360 is coming and they want to get rid of the arcade systems, or it is GameStop just wanting to get rid of their old systems, or refurbished ones.
Even if it is refurbished, and everything is used, that is still a heck of a deal.
Used Game- $10
Used Game - $10
Used Controller - maybe $30
So that would leave a $50 refurbished console, lol. Not too bad, if you ask me.
The game room idea is pretty neat, and I do like it, but it really could have been so much better if they did things differently.
It would have been really awesome to be able to control your character around in a virtual environment, like Home, and talk with other people. That's what I was hoping for when I first heard about this, but I just knew it would be too good to be true. I was pretty disappointed when I found out it was nothing like that.
The biggest problem ...
They are working on a new IP as well as Reach. If I remember right, they hinted that it was going to be a FPS, but that's pretty much all they have said about it so far.
Sure, Microsoft loves to advertise Halo all over the place, but it's no where near being milked dry. If this one wasn't the last Halo game from Bungie I would say that Microsoft should tone it down this time around. Since it most likely will be their last one, though, why not go out with a bang?
If what you mean is that you haven't played Mount & Blade, it's pretty awesome. The single player is pretty fun, but the multiplayer in Warband is where it's at. It can take a lot of practice to get good at, though, so if you decide to check it out don't go in expecting to own everyone. =P
I haven't tried out this mod yet, but I am downloading it right now. It looks like it might be pretty sweet.
Dang, I haven't even heard about the game until now.
I just checked out some video's and I have to say, this looks pretty sweet. It really looks like it may be just as good as Diablo.
What's even better is I should be able to run it on my ancient piece of crap computer, yay!
It's really nice that it has multiplayer, and only costs $25. I'm just wondering how long it is..
