Well considering that you could of bought a new console, or tons of games with the amount you have paid for subscription fees is nothing to sneeze at. We get it, 60 dollars isn't a lot, but over a span of 7 years is it. Also, that's not the point, the point is that you are paying something that you could be getting for free, and paying to be able to use what you already paid for(Internet, Netflix, apps etc). Hey, it's only money right?
Your point? Lol I guess handhelds count as consoles now. This is a ps3/360 discussion, hence why he was comparing the two. Two kz games on ps3, and 5 halo games this gen on the 360. Also, Sony has a bunch of exclusives to diversify their gaming portfolio, that's the other point he was trying to make.

Lol nice try dude but having a phone and a dedicated video gaming console are not even in the same galaxy in terms of backwards compatibility. A console is a 5 to 10 year purchase and does not require bc, where as a cell phone is a non dedicated 1-2 year mobile device that makes bc a lot easier. Logic goes a long way bro.

I think Sony has learned many valuable lessons from the last generation. This generation should be interesting, and hopefully a successful start from all the video game camps.

Did you forget that Sony has released their big guns(killzone, uncharted, gran turismo etc..) on top of brand new fresh ips(last of us, beyond, heavy rain etc...) I know these rumors aren't 100 percent true and confirmed yet, but there is a scary amount of leaks from reputable sources that are claiming they are true. Microsoft seems to have lost there way this gen and the upcoming gen looks to be more of the same, yet puerile well still buy it and call it the holy grail of game consoles, only for the yearly call of duty release and halo.

I have a phat 60 gb launch day ps3 and it still works fine. It's really loud becuase I think the fan bearings are getting worn but to the jackasses that posted before me saying all launch ps3s have got the ylod. My brother still has his 20 gig launch ps3 and that works fine. My friend still has his 60 launch, it had the over heating problem, bought some thermal paste for 10 bucks, cracked it open and reapplied the paste, works like a charm. Lol what more could you ask for? Judging by the quality of games released this generation with a severely outdated graphics card and Gpu, troublesome and fickle cell processor, and not to mention 512mb of ram, I'd say the ps4 is pretty well stacked to make some beautiful games.
Doesn't change the fact fact that for almost 2 years Microsoft had accelerated sales rates from people buying multiple consoles. Sure they enacted some great damage control but they still benefited sales wise from that. I can't even count how many friends of mine are on their 4th or 5th 360 from hardware failure.
