400 was for the ultimate edition, as a regular user you only need the home version.
Home was sold on its release day for 150 euro's here in NL.
The ultimate edition is for developers, and naturally if you delevlop you pay more.
Um, here in the netherlands you can buy Windows XP home for 80 euro's, and vista home costs 95 euro's
Are you sure you werent comparing XP ultimate to Vista home ?
Cause Vista ultimate costs more then XP ultimate, maybe when checking prices.
You should also check which editions you are looking at.

i agree with that too, i run vista, but i do hope windows 7 will be more stable.
But hey, no development chain goes perfect, every software developer is bound to screw up somethimes.
MS did well on Windows 95, 98, then they screwed up with Windows ME, then they came back really good with Windows XP.

The super computer you mentioned is a cluster of modified cell processors.
All the other 499 super computers are mostly composed of processors that fall in the same category as the 360. x86.

actually, i played so many shooters, i can easily tell what shooter is mediocre and what not.
Most ps3 owners probably are still pretty wet around the ears when it comes to shooters.
