However i think it will be needed for the next gen of gaming devices.
thats would be a blu ray compatible disc, so if MS goes blu ray it will also support the 400 gb disc.

Thats true, but last year, shortly after MS let go of Bizarre MS also mentioned they owned the rights of Project Gotham, and that they would not let the series go to waste.
MS has recently shut down some company's and created a couple of new ones, one of those could be working on a new Project Gotham, and i personally would not be surprised that if its indeed in the works, that it will be unveiled in 2009.

Besides gears 3 we only have halo recon, halo wars, star ocean 4, forza 3, new project gotham, alan wake, splinter cell conviction, huxley, mass effect 2, and who knows, Killer instinct :), and much more....
I prever that they finish the Gears trilogy on the xbox 360, and then start a new trilogy on the next xbox.

And i am sure they have people working on a new engine, its the unreal engine after all, the people that are working on the Unreal engine 4 are not the same team who work on Gears of War.
If something is good, its not a bad thing to have a lot of it.
And you acting like MS only got Gears and Halo, MS also has Mass effect, Forza, Project gotham and Fable.
Besides, There have been 6 metal gears, over 20 final fantasy's, and god knows how many mario's.
Dont blame MS supporters for being able to create a quality game in two years, instead of taking 4/5 years.

A game could always be more, devs can either have more people working on it, or delay a game by a year to add more content.
Heck, they could even make movies 6 hours long instead of 1.5 ~ 2.
We had an 8 hour GeoW2, and if we get another 8 hour GeoW3, then thats just fine with me.
Maybe they started developing Gears 2 and Gears 3 at the same time.
Its always possible that Epic put two teams down on building Gears games.
One developing Gears2, and the other Gears 3, kinda what EA does for COD.

nice, i have a wii and a 360, nice to know i chose for the 2 best selling consoles as soon as they where out.

Name one thing that you can do in GTA3 that you cant in GTA4, i only see additions.
Only perhaps a few small things are left out.
The only thing missing from previous games, is a bicycle.
The rest is all there.
Maybe people should stop expecting that Rockstar reinvents the wheel with every GTA.

Sonic seems to be pretty high in the list, same for need4speed.
